Fishing Cowgirl Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 Mine is to concentrate on Jig fishing, and finally catch a fish on a jig. ( And get my Mom out on the boat for a cruise down Tiger creek!) Quote
Super User Long Mike Posted January 8, 2010 Super User Posted January 8, 2010 I'm going to take a youngster fishing this year. Say, someone around fifty. ;D Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted January 8, 2010 Super User Posted January 8, 2010 Mine is to concentrate on Jig fishing, and finally catch a fish on a jig. ( And get my Mom out on the boat for a cruise down Tiger creek!) It took me two years to "get" the jig and soft plastics have always been my strong suite! Geez...Once ya get it, ya got it, but it was hard for me, too. My suggestion: Fish NOTHING but a jig on occasional outings. Think crawdad moving slowly over a rock and trying to hide. When you think you are fishing slow, slow down! Fish jigs exactly where you are currently fishing soft plastics. 8-) Quote
bassman31783 Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 My main goal is to make the cankbait a confidence bait. I've got to get better at cranking. Second, how to properly use & read my depth/fish finder. Quote
