Super User T-rig Posted March 25, 2009 Super User Posted March 25, 2009 Has anyone used this bait? http://www.***.com/descpageHDCLUCKY-RCWAC.html# Quote
Super User burleytog Posted March 25, 2009 Super User Posted March 25, 2009 Used it a few times, no catches. It has a good action. Quote
Primus Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 I did real well on a couple of occasions last year, another one you might look at and my favorite so far is the Excalibur Wake Crank I've had some vicious strikes on that bait. Quote
Super User KYntucky Warmouth Posted March 25, 2009 Super User Posted March 25, 2009 I have had most of my success with wakes baits on Manns Elite Wakers. That's my favorite color in LC and Bomber Quote
Super User Raul Posted March 25, 2009 Super User Posted March 25, 2009 Got a couple, you are not going to believe it but I haven 't unpacked them yet. :-/ Quote
westpalmfrogpunk Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 i own a few of these in the 1.5 size in ghost minnow and its a great little pond bait for me. I have yet to use it very much in club tounaments but for ponds over the weeds i get some good fish. I actually caught my first double a few weeks back on this bait. I really think all the Lucky crafts are worth the extra cash. Quote
Super User T-rig Posted March 26, 2009 Author Super User Posted March 26, 2009 Got a couple, you are not going to believe it but I haven 't unpacked them yet. :-/ I do believe you Raul. I also have baits lying around that I wanted to use last year but never did. Do you have the 3", 3/4oz. size? The others just seem to small.... Quote
Ballpark Frank Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 I have a couple of the 2" that I have used with limited success. It could be that I end using my Jackall Aragon SSRs more often, because of the color selections I have. Quote
Super User Raul Posted March 26, 2009 Super User Posted March 26, 2009 Do you have the 3", 3/4oz. size? The others just seem to small.... Those are the ones I got and for whatever reason you can imagine, they are still packed ! Gotta give me some time to try them or they will be packed for another year. : Quote
Tokyo Tony Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 I love that bait. Last spring I was catching bass on them when the water temp was still in the high 40's I love them especially in the late spring throwing them over submerged weeds that are growing towards the surface, but not quite there yet. The rattling sound is pretty enticing. Quote
Shakes Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 I did real well on a couple of occasions last year, another one you might look at and my favorite so far is the Excalibur Wake Crank I've had some vicious strikes on that bait. I've used both. The Lucky Craft was originially a friend's, in ghost minnow. Fished several outtings with it catch nothing. (I"m glad I didn't pay for it!) Switched over this Xcalibur Wake and got results immediately. Great action on the LC, but the Xcal was catchin! In this color Quote
Primus Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 Shakes, I think what makes the Excalibur real effective is that it leaves a nice wake and it's loud. This bait really annoys them. Quote
