BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted December 18, 2009 BassResource.com Administrator Posted December 18, 2009 What are your bass fishing predictions for 2010? What do you think we'll see in the realm of product innovations in reels, rods, lures, depthfinders, boats and engines? Do you think the next world record will be broken in 2010? Who will win the Classic? Will the Charlie Moore show finally get pulled? ;D Tell us! Inquiring minds want to know! Quote

FishingBuds Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 I predict that Charlie's show will be gone and a product line will be bought out by a big dog Quote
Hot Rod Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 I predict Vs. and the Outdoor channel with both replace all their best fishing programing with stupid soccer so they can be just like ESPN2! > Oh yeah, and a major rod company will come out with a pitchin' stick equiped with a targe aquisition system just like the putter Rodney Dangerfield's character used in Caddy Shack... "No..No...No...Yesss!" "Bing" .... 10 pounder!!! Quote

Inquiring minds want to know! - I don't think the World Record will ever be broken (legitimately) -I think we will see even more life like swimbaits hit the market. -Like said before, I really think we will see a split grip Gloomis rod this year. -Mike Iaconelli will win the Bassmaster classic Quote

Daiwa? 4) Do red hooks really make a difference? 5) Is flouro better than mono? : : : : : : : : : : : Quote

A-Rob Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 equipment will keep tweaking itself and become more and more technique specific (ie the way rods are going). Hopefully, after a poor summer on my lake (sub-temps, the smallies never got active), I am anticipating an amazing season after they had a season off chilling out, so I can give the bucketmouths a break. Iaconelli will win the bassmaster, KVD wins angler of the year again. Greg Hackney hopefully does good to. Quote
Super User Gatorbassman Posted December 20, 2009 Super User Posted December 20, 2009 I think we will see a better selection of mid range priced tackle and equipment that is great quality. I think the high dollar fishing companies will have to adapt or continue to struggle. We will see a major change in Boat Production to something more affordable. The Classic will be won by someone who has never won it before. The new magic bait will be a creature bait of some type. 8-) Quote
swilly78 Posted December 20, 2009 Posted December 20, 2009 I predict I will learn a few more things on BR! Quote
etommy28 Posted December 20, 2009 Posted December 20, 2009 I think you will see several Pro's who normally fish the Elite Series make the jump to FLW. Quote
Super User fishfordollars Posted December 20, 2009 Super User Posted December 20, 2009 Waiting on the hybrid outboard to be mounted on a 20' bass boat. Probably a reach. Technology that will allow the trolling motor to recharge the TM battery while you run it. Warning buzzers that will tell you when you run by a school of fish at 60 mph. It will know the difference between a bass and a carp. Cameras built into soft plastics so you can see the size of a fish before you set the hook. Finally catching a keeper when it matters. Got to happen sooner or later. Outboards with a 100,000 mile/hour cowling - skeg warranty. Look for it in ___. Boaters that know when they are too close. They finally get the clue. Dedicated areas for jet skis, will be enforced with razor wire. Robby Rose will get what's coming to him. This is probably a reach to. Quote
Super User 5bass Posted December 20, 2009 Super User Posted December 20, 2009 Cameras built into soft plastics so you can see the size of a fish before you set the hook. This would be awesome Quote
