NasTMcfingas Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 When I'm out with my son and the knowledge that I pass on to him and times that we have together may pass, but it will never be forgotten. Now when I'm out with my friends, the trash talking on the way to the water, the trash talking while on the boat, and then the silence that I put them in by the end of our trip. ;D Quote
broncoboxer Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 Just being Out of the house. Plus the peace and quiet, well, not always quiet, but you get the idea..it's simple. But you could get the same thing from a quiet walk in the woods. What is it about fishing that keeps you coming back for more? Quote
Super User Catt Posted November 19, 2009 Super User Posted November 19, 2009 I love fishing in the spring Spinner baits with a fling I love pitching in the brush Rat-L-Traps in a rush I love that big bump When you flip by a stump I love flying across the lake The sound a 2 stroke makes I love fishing worms with ease Smell of bacon in the breeze I love big grins that come with a win And I love Fishing on the Bend Quote
dave Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 Ladies and gentlemen, I give you, The Poet Laureate, of Bass Resource. Quote
Super User fishfordollars Posted November 19, 2009 Super User Posted November 19, 2009 The competition and seeing if I can outsmart a stupid green, finny creature on a regular basis. And no I can't usually. Quote
YeahSure Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 I love spending time out on the lake, I love the feel of a fish on the other end of the line, I love being with my freinds/family, And I love the feeling I get driving home knowing I just had an amazing day that I will remember for possibly a long time. Bass fishing is amazing. Quote
af2c40 Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 Being out on the lake at first light. The sun is just starting to come up and the lake water looks like glass. The air is cool and crisp and all you can hear is mother nature working her magic. One of the best ways to start the day Quote
RobbyZ5001 Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 I like the mornings showing up to the lake early when there is still fog over the water and the sun is rising. I like drifting along with 100+ other boats waiting for blast off and smelling and hearing the motors. I like the excitmenet before blast off not knowing what could happen during the day. The mystery of what is happening below the surface. Quote
Big Mike in Fl Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 The idea that the next cast may be a story I tell for years to come 8-) Quote
Super User bassfisherjk Posted November 19, 2009 Super User Posted November 19, 2009 I like trying to figure out where they are at,what lure to try. Also love the peace and quiet when fishing alone.LOL I also like fishing with my sons.I JUST LOVE BASS FISHING! Quote
Skeet22 Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 Knowing before each trip the the Bass of my life time may be waiting for me. The so many ways and techniques of Bass fishing. The equiptment...I am definitly an equiptment junky! How boring would it be to rig up one rod to bring fishing which you can get away with fishing for trout and redfish. The short break from the rest of the world. The patience and skill it takes to be successful unlike other forms of fishing where all it takes is hitting a good tide and chunking out a cork with a peice of shrimp under it and you will more than likley have a good day. I compare Bass fishing to Deer hunting. They take more patience than other forms of hunting and fishing but are also more rewarding. I am all about the reward, I rather kill one nice buck a year than 100 ducks and I rather catch one 8 pound Bass a year than 1000 trout. I guess its not for everyone though because some of my friends think I am nutz which is why I fish mostly alone b\c none of my friends are as passionate about Bass fishing as I am. They just dont get it!! Quote
jbtcardfan Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 The escape, for sure, to the outdoors, but especially that unique jerk on the end of the line. It's just a real adrenaline rush unlike any other................. Quote
