D4u2s0t Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 it makes it that much better when you get one! I have probably not caught bass in my last 4-5 times out... and when I got one today, I was almost jumping up and down. Quote
aceman387 Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 you could do like me and hang up all your fishing gear in the garage for the year and read as much bass resource as you can,its almost as much fun as fishing. Quote
daviscw Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 Find a new hobby. That's what I do anyway... Quote

Fat-G Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 All of these answers are wrong!!! Tie on a Senko ;D Quote
NewAngler Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 Gotta throw the senko and fish is slllooooow. I ran into the aame thing yesterday, and couldn't get them to hot on anything. Hooked up a senko and got em. Quote
sal669 Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 Still catching them. .. :(as of this week) Jig with craw trailer( as light as you can handle) in green weeds. Bite is so light I missed 2 because i had no idea they have the jig in their mouth; I realised I got bit only when i started picking up my jig to make annother pitch. I still landed 4 in 3 1/2 hours. Interesting that I didn't catch any on Jerkbaits; maybe didn't pause them long enough. And the pike are out to play ...... Quote
joshuaryan Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 Fish for stripers. Well, at least here I can do that. Quote
mr.mallard Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 fly fish,...then you have an excuse for not catching fish : Quote
cancoon44 Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 I live in MI and I have had really good luck the last two weeks using spinner baits i caught a 4 ponder last time out. Quote
treble_hook_smile Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 Might try dragging a senko like suggested. That has saved my tail a time or two. Also may want to fish a hair jig tipped with pork. Very subtle action in colder water seems to be key. Quote
