Super User fourbizz Posted July 29, 2009 Super User Posted July 29, 2009 My buddy Steve suggested that I just "bonk" her and "put her out of her misery" lol Quote

bigtimfish Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 A fish with a head that size should be waaaay bigger than that. Still nice though. Quote
Super User fourbizz Posted July 29, 2009 Author Super User Posted July 29, 2009 A fish with a head that size should be waaaay bigger than that. Still nice though. Yep, she was 28 inches and 9lbs 10ozs. Out of that lake, with that frame, she should have been 14+. Now THAT was a disappointment. Quote
slider head Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 Just curious: Were you using Trim Spa? All kidding aside......thats still a nice fish. Did you get a weight? I would have to fold it in half to get her in my live well. Quote
Dave D Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 I hear ya man.Last year I caught a 21" which is pretty big for our area and she only went 4.5 lbs. Fish should have been an easy 6 with the big head she had on her. Oh well! Quote
slider head Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 man everyone beat me to the jokes. And a weight......I have to get better typing skills! Quote

Redtail Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 That would be the prettiest fish in the world if it were caught in New England! We don't catch em that big here. Still over nine pounds -Sweet! Quote
Super User Sam Posted August 3, 2009 Super User Posted August 3, 2009 Never! All fish are beautiful and I enjoy seeing them before releasing them back to the water. Quote
tentimesover Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 I couldn't help remembering the "ugliest bass" post when I caught this one yesterday. He seemed to come from the same gene pool as the big one that started this thread. I dissected his gut looking for some obstruction -- but nothing. Could it just be there are just some strange looking bass out there? Quote
