Super User Raul Posted September 2, 2009 Author Super User Posted September 2, 2009 The boat is in motion. 3 crew members, only one is wearing a PFD 3 crew members, one is not wearing protective eye gear Don 't know about you but I can 't see the kill switch cord. One crew member is sitting on a pedestal seat with the boat in motion. Nothing ever happens until it happens .... and s*t happens when you least expect it. Quote
steezy Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 Oh, is safety an issue? I thought they were just having fun. .... Seriously, they are all going to die....fools! Only thing missing is a beer in each of their hands. Quote
Super User Raul Posted September 2, 2009 Author Super User Posted September 2, 2009 You can have fun safely. Quote
Super User flechero Posted September 2, 2009 Super User Posted September 2, 2009 You can have fun safely. You can even have fun safely, with beer. Speaking of which, how about the unrestrained cooler on the front "deck" and they are probably passing the camera boat too close for the speed they are going. One wave at a poor angle and the guy up front looses or breaks both of those rods. Quote

Hehe, you'd crap yourself with one trip to Alabama. That looks like a typical day on any lake around here. And no we don't sleep with our sisters - everybody knows that cousins don't kiss and tell! tnhiker44 Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 1. Where I hail from Wearing a PFD is optional. Clearly the captain is the only non-swimmer in the crew. The two crew members not wearing PFD's must believe that, in case of an emergency, they are better off under the water than on top of it (an obvious reflection of their Captains piloting skills). 2. Protective eye wear with a hat like that? That hat blocks out more sunlight than the Pecan trees in my yard. I was wondering why there was no flashlight clipped on the bill. 3. The kill switch has probably weakened over years of sun abuse... therefor the Captain wisely built another one made out of 200 pound test mono. That is why it is not visible. 4. Based on the size of that fella... I am not sure the back of the boat is where you want him. That is properly placed fore ballast if I have ever seen it. Actually, I find it disappointing that he did not turn around and make the classic 'Rose' pose (from the movie Titantic). (I noticed no registration numbers on the starboard side of the vessel. Not a safety issue... but around here it will get you noticed real quick like.) Quote
bigtimfish Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 His center console is missing the windshield. Sorry, I noticed it. Quote
RobE Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 Speaking of which, how about the unrestrained cooler on the front "deck" and they are probably passing the camera boat too close... My guess is that the cooler is empty by this point and they think there is more on the camera boat. Quote
Super User RoLo Posted September 2, 2009 Super User Posted September 2, 2009 Speaking of which, how about the unrestrained cooler on the front "deck" I think that's a recirculating livewell, and the dude in the bow is trolling for baitfish Roger Quote
Shimmer Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 Protective eye gear? Mandatory PDF? I hope nobody enforces those rules upon my little town. The locals go out with machetes, axes, baseball bats, broomsticks and pitchforks in just their swimmin suits to go slay Asian Carp ;D Quote
Delaware Valley Tackle Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 Looks like the guy in the back's gonna' turn the outboard with his elbow and watch the other two take a dunk. Quote
Super User cart7t Posted September 3, 2009 Super User Posted September 3, 2009 Is that a photo from the last bass resource roadtrip ? Could that be RW in the bow seat? JK RW. 8-) 8-) 8-) Naw. As rough as KY lake was this year during the roadtrip, a bow rider wouldn't have been for very long. Quote
Uncle Leo Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 The skipper left half his brains at the dock. The part he came with told him to put on his life-jacket. The other parts did not smack the guy on the bow. Too much BEER? Quote
Surgin Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 Dang! I wish I could see it. Half the pics on here don't show up on my pc, here at work. Can someone repost it so I could see it. The comments from you guys are too much. Thanks. Quote
Super User .RM. Posted September 3, 2009 Super User Posted September 3, 2009 Raul, I thought that was you on the bow, trolling for crappie.... Tight Lines!!! Quote
Bass_Akwards Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 I'm all for listening to music while I fish fellas, But "YMCA" by the Village People??!! Come on guys you can get better tunes in the boat than that and you really don't have to dance to it while you're going 35 MPH! Quote
natanestaban Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 I see the Auburn bass club just had their yearly tournament. Roll Tide Quote
