wack Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 So I'm having no luck summer fishing. I do well in spring/fall but since July...I've had no luck. I'm certain the bass have moved out to deep water since the shallows have not been productive at all, even in early morning / dusk. I've tried some deep casting from shore trying weightless t-rigged senkos and c-rigged lizards & senkos but still nothing. Any suggestions on what else I can try. Should I try craws? or bigger worms? BrnzeBckStalker Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 Are you restricted to bank fishing? Are you fishing a pond/lake/river? Quote
wack Posted July 27, 2009 Author Posted July 27, 2009 I am restricted to the bank. I mainly fish a (muddy) pond with no pressure but also have a similar issue with a larger (stained) lake which is heavily pressured. Quote
jimmieO Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 I am beginning to realize/develop the opinion that summertime middle of the day fishing is just about pointless unless you have decent electronics and know how to use them.....You've got to know where the cover is and where the ledges and drop offs are. I'm starting to get it through my head, but I still need a LOT of practice. Quote
