Ellesar Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 So, I'm suffering withdrawls while my boat is in the shop and I come across this game for the Wii. Its called Sega Bass fishing. Its comes wiht a little fishing rod thing to put the controllers into. Its not a bad little game, especially the tournaments. Its giving me a small fishing fix while I wait for my boat! If any of you have a Wii, give it a try, its worth the 30 bucks! Quote
aarogb Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 Look what I caught: If I am not mistaken Raul, that is a new world record!!!!!!!!!! (it beat 22 lbs. 5 oz. by more than 2 oz.) ;D Quote

JellyMan Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 Dude those bass fishin games are so much fun. Have some beers with friends and have tournaments on the game. It's a blast after a day of fishing. Keeps up the stoke! Quote
DINK WHISPERER Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 I would rather fish for real but if you can't do that than i guess this will do! Quote
Dad_Golf_Fish Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 But it's single player only. Can't bring along your regular fishing buddies, and mine always brings the beer! Quote
endless Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 i no i play the fishing game on zelda twilight princess all the time. my best fishing game ever own was bass landing on ps1 it came with a rod too and man virtually hard. like most fishing games you can see the fish or shadows this one nope nothing. u have to fish just like in real life off of boat. from shallow to deep with the proper lure and technique.. even when reeling in the fish u dont see it just you fighting it and when brought in then he lifts it up to see what species you caught cause it just wasnt all bass. done Posted July 22, 2009 Posted July 22, 2009 LOL, I got the rapalla one for the Wii. There is some wierd glitch in there. Every now and then I get a LMB that is like 35 lbs. It is funny when he pulls it up on the boat with him, it is almost as big as he is. Quote
endless Posted July 22, 2009 Posted July 22, 2009 you know sadly enough that the xbox 360 cant make a good fishing man the last rapala game had excellent graphics but reviews of gameplay was horrible. only if they could get the concept of real life with the real life graphics. i would have to get it on reserve. jax Posted July 22, 2009 Posted July 22, 2009 It amazes me the garbage that some software companies pass off as games. It is a shame that xbox cant do a better fishing game. Quote

Ellesar Posted July 22, 2009 Author Posted July 22, 2009 I do wish it were multiplayer, but its still pretty fun. I've found that working the bait actually does make a difference so that's a nice little bit of functionality that reflects the real thing. I get tired of big ones breaking off though, and I know its designed that way to maek the game challenging, in real life I can adjust the drag or use stronger line. Can't do either of those in this game. Quote
BigMoneyGrip Posted July 22, 2009 Posted July 22, 2009 Wal Mart has these hand held fishing games for like $10. You can choose different lakes and move around on each one. Several guys where I used to work had them and each night we'd have a tournament. Those were good times. Scott. Quote
