Quitlimpin Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 Looks like you got it made, bro. Beautiful little pond Quote
SammyLee Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 Agree with the others, you're a lucky man. Yet I suspect like most luck, you worked and planned to be so lucky. Who said, "The harder I work, the luckier I get." They're right. I wish I had this. I wish I had that. Yet I am unwilling to do what it takes to get this or that. Quote
RhodyBass Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 Sweet looking spot and the rig isn't too bad either Quote
endless Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 Just wanted to share with all you, pictures of my pontoon boat, & the 10 acre pond that is literally in my back yard. (No more then a 1/2 mile, down a trail that runs through my backyard) Not many fish it, nor no about it or its location. Its loaded w/ Largemouth Bass, & the biggest one that I have yet to see come out of there is 10LBS by a good friend of mine. I guess you can say its my practice pond, where I brush up on my skills about 5 times a week, or when I am not fishing another waterway. (I have even caught 20-40LBS Catfish, 10LBS Carp, Blue Gill, & Crappie out of there since I can remember) PICTURES: 1 & 2: The pond. 3: Pontoon boat about to be luanched into pond (Notice the homemade dolly, built so the pontoon can be walked down to pond. Genius!) first may i say i hate you,lol and second that im jealous.for real though thats looks like a very nice place. live and fish it up!! you know the bad thing for me is behind my place we have this beautiful pond smack in the middle of nature filled with surroundings of structures in the water and that owner wont let you fish it. the overseer fishes it all the time for bass but he refuses to allow any one else. i would like to sneak back there and take pics and post it but i would get arrested for trespassing. sadly no signs posted but we already been kicked off.those but anyways your pontoon boat you set up yourself?? i no im after one of those pond prowlers from bps i want that ten footer but i think ima settle on a jonboat and rig it up something like yours. Who said, "The harder I work, the luckier I get." They're right. I wish I had this. I wish I had that. Yet I am unwilling to do what it takes to get this or that. The luck is that I have been blessed w/ great opportunities in my life. I work my rear end off, make a generous amount of money, & then when I think that I am done, I work some more. That's the only way that I can afford my toys & the life style that I choose to live. Its all because of work, work, work, & then play. Who says money cant buy happiness. No money isn't everything, but it sure does pay for my expensive habits, house, & everything that I about want to do. Should be in the Everything Else, because it's about money bragging not about fishing. Many forum members have worked equally as hard or harder and are very comfortable Quote
nickb Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 Man, what I wouldn't give! I have to work too hard to find a decent place to catch 3 lb fish. Nice place. Quote
