Super User roadwarrior Posted March 20, 2009 Super User Posted March 20, 2009 Fish them on a Sworming Hornet. 8-) Quote
moloch16 Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 I bought a pack at the end of last year and tried them once. Didn't catch any fish with them (in fact, on that particular trip I got skunked) but the action is fabulous. I plan on using them this year and definitely believe they will catch some fish. Quote
Captain Obvious Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 Great baits. RW do you have the old topic about fishing it with the swim hornet head I meant to read it but by the time I got to it it was already gone :-[ mind posting the link here or sending it to me in a PM Quote

JT Bagwell Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 I was fishing with FLW Tour Pro Tom Reddington and he turned me on to these at Lake Fork. They look awesome in the water. We used them on Lake Fork swim bait hooks and on Chatterbaits. After fishing all day, my friend and I headed over to Lake Fork Tackle and scouped some of the Live Magic Shads to bring home. Thanks again Ernie for staying open late so we could stock up on baits. JT Bagwell Quote
EastTexasBassin Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 I removed the skirts on all of my chatterbaits and replaced them with LFT live magic shads. I've caught so many fish on these. I also like to use them weightless, like a soft plastic jerkbait but with very long pauses. I try to make it look like its on its 'last leg' and moments from death. Its a killer technique in the winter and whenever the bass are sluggish. Quote
