It's a system that converts your hand-controlled trolling motor to a foot-controlled trolling motor. It's great for car-toppers. Pretty clever idea. It's called Pro Controll. Quote

TT claims the Abu rod debuts mid 2010 in time for the BM Classic, this info conflicts with what's posted here. The new Abu rods do come out in 2010 (the red ones) but it's not the rod that we got the sneak peak at. The gold one was pull out of a box from behind the counter. We talked to the guy who designed it and he gave us strict instructions on what we could show and say about it. It is an awesome rod with new innovations. I can't wait till they finish tweaking it.
