Here's a new rod from Abu-Garcia that's still in prototype form.  It won't be ready until 2012.  There's not much we're allowed to say about it, but it's really awesome!

Here's something that we thought was really interesting.  It's a system that converts your hand-controlled trolling motor to a foot-controlled trolling motor.  It's great for car-toppers.  Pretty clever idea.  It's called Pro Controll.

Great pics, thanks Glenn. TT claims the Abu rod debuts mid 2010 in time for the BM Classic, this info conflicts with what's posted here.

Every time I see the Vendetta it jumps out at me, how did it feel Glenn?

Those yacks are very cool, and the hand trolling to foot trolling converter is genius.

Best photo post on the web!!!!! Thanks Glenn!

That Premier on that new Abu rod is amazing looking. 2012, huh? Maybe I can afford to buy a few by then. Maybe they'll ighten it up by making the thread section a bit shorter.

The new Abu rods do come out in 2010 (the red ones) but it's not the rod that we got the sneak peak at. The gold one was pull out of a box from behind the counter. We talked to the guy who designed it and he gave us strict instructions on what we could show and say about it. It is an awesome rod with new innovations. I can't wait till they finish tweaking it.

I got to play with one a couple weeks ago.

The new Lowrance systems with the Side Imaging is the real deal. I'm going back to Lowrance.

Hey Tin, do you know when they are going to start selling them?  I have got the HDS-7 Lowrance and I want to upgrade to the side imagining soon.

They said Oct or Nov I think.

They are awesome. They are calling it "Structure Scan". Just wait till you see the new "Down Scan" feature. It is a whole new way of looking directly under the boat.

The Stradic looks sweet...Lowrance with side imaging sounds very interesting as well.

I got the Humminbird SI...I wonder how well the Lowrance version is going to be?

The new Lowrance technology is just that - NEW.  It doesn't even compare to Humminbird.  Lowrance upped the ante, and then some.

Thanks for all the updates Glenn. Your doing a great job!! Can you show some of the new reels by Okuma and Quantum. Are there any 300 sized low pro reels?

Glenn, who makes the Sledgehammer rod? Was there an MSRP? How'd it feel?
