Any of you guys use the Bogagrip?  If so, how do you like it.  It seems the prongs would actually tear into the fishes mouth because they are too small????

I have it and really like it.  I bought it because digital scales never gave me a consistent reading.  The Boga is certifiable.  It works just fine on any size fish I have weighed.

It also makes a good landing tool for large fish hooked on multiple treble hook baits.

I don't trust myself or fishing partners so I have a rope tied to mine and the rope tied to the boat.  I have had it for about 3 years and would buy one again in a heartbeat.

It's extremely well made.  Worth every penny.

So i'm assuming that if a big fish starts to flop around while on the Bogagrip, the prongs will not tear the fishes mouth?

It pinches the lip.  It's not sharp, it just pinches.  Mine has never torn any lips.  However, avoid grips with teeth like this Rapala ProGuide Lock-n-Weigh.  I've seen this poke holes in a mouth.
