Fat-G Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 What is your favorite season to fish? Mine is early spring and fall. I love fall beacause all the leaves are off the trees and you can fish the whole day. Early spring is your best shot at catching the fish of a lifetime. (And there's no leaves on the trees ;D) Quote
Mottfia Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 Winter ;D No competition and four pound spots everywhere Mottfia Quote
Super User Big Bait Fishing Posted June 22, 2009 Super User Posted June 22, 2009 SUMMER TIME !!!! , when the weeds (grass) grow and it is time to frog fish !!!! , let me tell you , if the weeds grew all year long that's ALL i would do is fish with frogs Quote
SammyLee Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 Fall, from early Fall to late. I love the weather, nice and crisp, clear dry air. The leaves turning color, the lake usually clear. The fishing improves or at least I can stay out there longer without sweating to death. Sometimes a jacket feels great. Quote
DINK WHISPERER Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 ALL YEAR LONG HERE IN THE EFF ELL!!!!!!!! ;D Quote
skillet Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 Would have to say mid-summer is my least favorite and the rest is gravy... skillet Quote
Super User Bassn Blvd Posted June 22, 2009 Super User Posted June 22, 2009 I don't know what "seasons" are since I live in Florida but my best/favorite times are from Nov- April. June, July, August and September are very productive months but the heat SUCKS. We caught about 30 bass today from 6pm-8:15pm but sweat our donkeys off. Miserably hot. Quote
Super User RoLo Posted June 22, 2009 Super User Posted June 22, 2009 I really like March, April, May and June, but I also like midsummer and fall. Winter is the best time for hawgs, did I mention March, April, May and June? Roger Quote

Super User Bankbeater Posted June 22, 2009 Super User Posted June 22, 2009 Summer and fall. I always seem to get hit with a cold front in the spring. Quote
done Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 I loathe summer. Not because of fishing but because of the jet skis and other boaters. Most of them have no idea what the rules of the water are or what common courtesy is. Quote
Super User grimlin Posted June 22, 2009 Super User Posted June 22, 2009 Spring...I seem to have the best luck during that season. Quote
Bass-1 Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 Can't beat the fall fishing up here in MAINE. Leaves are all colored, frosty in the mornings and warm in the afternoons, and not many if any other boats on the water. Fishing is great from early fall right up to Thanksgiving, if we don't get ice by then. Quote
Super User fishinfiend Posted June 22, 2009 Super User Posted June 22, 2009 Early spring & Fall Quote
ring fry Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 Without a doubt, fall into early winter. People are hunting, winds are down, jet fleas are gone and fish are feeding a bunch. Quote
FEVER Erie - St Clair Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 Any season that the water isn't hard! When that happens I like to head south. Quote
RandySBreth Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 Winter. Any fool can catch fish when it's warm out... Quote
