Low_Budget_Hooker Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 Never in the history of my lake has there been a Rainbow trout in it. (or ANY Trout for that matter, lol) VIDEO Quote
Low_Budget_Hooker Posted June 19, 2009 Author Posted June 19, 2009 my mistake, this is the bait I was using Quote
SammyLee Posted June 20, 2009 Posted June 20, 2009 Fabulous fish! And what a whacky lure! Oh, just kidding but man, you were surely hunting for the big ones and dang, you got one. I am a little puzzled by these big fish you guys catch. The little ones I catch put up a heck of a fight, break lines, jump and shake their heads, etc. I'm not sure what I'll do when a real lunker bites. Quote
Super User cart7t Posted June 20, 2009 Super User Posted June 20, 2009 It's amazing that even smaller bass like that one will try and take down such a large lure. . Quote
Low_Budget_Hooker Posted June 20, 2009 Author Posted June 20, 2009 It's amazing that even smaller bass like that one will try and take down such a large lure. . I routinely catch the 2.25-3.5's all the time, one of these "next size up" ones hits maybe once every 20 fish or so. For New England, I'll take it!! ..and with an avatar like that, I hardly think you're surprised, lmao Quote
bassmedic46 Posted June 20, 2009 Posted June 20, 2009 Awesome Fish , That was one whacky lure indeed. Quote

Super User Tin Posted June 21, 2009 Super User Posted June 21, 2009 Must be nice to have unpressured healthy fish. (I'm jealous) Seems like every fish I catch has a busted jaw, hook down it's throat, or a messed up face. I caught a couple ugly 4 pounders out of the Park today. Have to finesse fish the ___ out of them too. No jig bite at all. > Quote
