i just wanted to thank everyone for the informative advice and all the reading i have done on this forum for the past 6 months.  it has finally paid off!!!!  i was out at the Little Miami River in Cincinnati, Ohio this past weekend and landed my 1st and 2nd fish.  the first one was a crappie and the second was a Small Mouth.  I was using a square Bomber Fat A lure.  before i caught the crappie i was getting a lot of hits by them on this lure.  i could see in the water and crappie were coming from every direction.  it was crazy.  but only one bass though.

it definitley changes the attitude!!!!!! bring on number 3!!!!  ;D

You can read and read -and that's good! But the fish are the real teachers.

Man, you must feel like when Ohio State football team won the national championship.

Oops. Wrong comparison.

OK, you feel like a newlywed on his honeymoon.

Keep going and pulling in those LMB.

This is the start of something great.

Congrats.   :)   :)   :)

Oh Yeah!  It's like a shot of the best drug you ever had.  The feeling I get when I land a nice one, ho man, indescribable.

Go get um but understand, sometimes they ain't gonna get got.  And that's a part of it's attraction as well.

People that don't love fishing?  I just don't understand.  Maybe they never caught one.
