zaraspook_dylan2 Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 The subject says it all. Who's your favorite angler? Personally mine's got to be my dad, but if I had to choose a professional angler, it would be either Bob Izumi, or Bill Dance. Quote
Surgin Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 My choice would be either Alton Jones, or Hank Parker. Not only 2 of the best anglers in the world, but men of God also. Truly admirable. Quote
Super User Catt Posted April 16, 2009 Super User Posted April 16, 2009 The Original Million Dollar Man Larry Nixon Quote

TrippyJai Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Going to go with KVD and being Canadian, I like Dave Mercer. Bob is great too. Quote
Super User MALTESE FALCON Posted April 16, 2009 Super User Posted April 16, 2009 KVD, He's a class act, and he sure can fish. Any time I've spoken with KVD, he always answered my questions, and usually added a little more helpful information. Another fisherman I like alot is Skeet Reese. Not only can he fish, he's pretty funny. Falcon Quote

Super User CWB Posted April 16, 2009 Super User Posted April 16, 2009 I'd love to spend a day with Jimmy Houston for laughs or Ike or KVD for intensity. Quote
Tanker4lyfe Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Id have to go with MIKE IACONELLI, you just have to admire his utmost seriousness and intensity while on the water. Quote
nickb Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 donbeatya, I totally agree about Mike Iaconelli. I love how intense he is and the love that he has for the sport. He gets people excited about fishing, and I think that is awesome. Quote
rippin_lips Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Ike for sure.... followed closely by KVD. Total opposites, Ike acts crazy and KVD always seems cool and collected. Quote
Olebiker Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 If I were to choose a pro that I would like to spend the day in a boat with it would be Jimmy Houston. He has always been a joy to talk to and he and I could spend the day fishing and comparing grandchildren stories. If I were to choose the one that I would like to watch for a day and learn from it would be KVD. He is just so smart. Quote
bucketmouthmonsters Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Dance,Clunn and Ike for the pros. on a personlal level its my uncle. spent plenty of time fishing old hickory and percy preist with him and we could throw the same lure and hed outfish me atleast 5 to 1 unbeleivable. i always thought well its his lake im not familiar with it and he couldnt do it to me back home in ky on my regular lakes. well , i was wrong he did better here than at his home lakes. always looked up to him for teaching me and showing me what my dad would never and hes the reason im addicted to fishing.... 8-) Quote
