Abrasiveboy Posted October 25, 2008 Posted October 25, 2008 Don't know if I am spelling this right or not. I am looking for a jig by Bass X. I was watching a show on TV, Fishin Hawg Country and they were using a jig by Bass X. Can someone email me or reply and let me know where I can get them. I have tried all the local area shops and can't find them. If this is an local manufacturer to the Arkansas area or Table Rock Lake area can you supply a link or a phone number. Thanks in advance. Super User KYntucky Warmouth Posted October 25, 2008 Super User Posted October 25, 2008 sure it wasn't the Jig X by Vertical ? Quote
Abrasiveboy Posted October 25, 2008 Author Posted October 25, 2008 Just to make sure, I saved the show he talked about and he said Bass X in brown with purple flash. Quote
Jeff P. Posted October 30, 2008 Posted October 30, 2008 Lee, Those jigs are made by the guys who run Hook, Line, and Sinker tackle shops in Bentonville and Rogers, AR. They are awesome jigs, and they have a huge variety of different sizes and skirt colors. They have round head and football head styles, and they come in different colors - black, brown, olive green, and an antique gold type color. I probably have at least 2 dozen of them, and they are top quality. Feel free to PM me if you want more info. Here are the phone numbers to the stores: 3706 N Walton Blvd Bentonville, AR 72712 (479) 271-8118 98 E Locust St Rogers, AR 72756 (479) 631-8118 Quote
ks cranker Posted October 30, 2008 Posted October 30, 2008 I don't think any other shops carry them. They are a great jig!!! Remind me of the Eakins jig... but better. Ask for Nick Gann. He can custom make anything you want - tell him Bryan Hayes sent you... Nick is at (479) 271-8118 He can ship them to you no problem! ;D Quote
Abrasiveboy Posted October 30, 2008 Author Posted October 30, 2008 Thank you all. I spoke with Clayton today about the jigs and they are setting up a website and I told him about how everyone here helped me find them. He asked how does a chicago boy find out about a jig in northern Arkansas. I simply said BASS FISHING, he understood and told me the website should be up in a couple of weeks. If anyone gets over there email pictures to me or send me 1 of each, color, and size. I will gladly pay you for shipping and cost of the lures. Lee S. ks cranker Posted October 30, 2008 Posted October 30, 2008 HAHAHA! You don't want to have to pay up on 1 of each color and size.... Lots of options! Just have them send you some in colors you think would be productive... Quote
Abrasiveboy Posted October 31, 2008 Author Posted October 31, 2008 Your problably right about that, I'll just wait to the website comes up or if I get anxious I'll call and see what colors are available. I usually use a 3/8oz or 1/2oz jig. So that at leasts narrows it down. Usually use about 5-7 different colors. But I'll be down on Table Rock in March and that's a whole different story. Any make any suggestions other than brown and cinn. purple. Thanks for info and suggestion. Lee :-/ :-/ Quote
