flyhatch Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 I went to a pro seminar the last time they were in town. One of the pros was Randy Tauber. He was talking about the drop shot and was explaining that if your line feels any different to set the hook. He went on to say that some anglers were so good and could tell between bites and weeds. then he said " If you wait long enough, those weeds will open up their mouth and spit out your bait." Quote
Big Tom Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 As it has already been said, you just have to go fish. The more you are out there, the more you start to feel the subtle differences between fish and other objects. Grass and weeds are the hardest to learn by far. Keep at it and when you think you might have a fish, sweep that rod to the side and see. Quote

You will learn over time. Quote
