SammyLee Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 I used to take my 21 footer offshore of the Breakers in Palm Beach, put on my mask, drop into the water and have someone hand me the anchor. I'd hold onto the side of the boat and drift until I saw a nice school of fish. Then I'd drop anchor and go fishing! Had pretty good luck! Quote

cpmed Posted May 18, 2009 Posted May 18, 2009 Did it in Eagle River Wi. with northern pike, was on vacation in early 80's. It was a BLAST, had to wear 5/8's gloves so you could unhook and release. Came up after being under for 15 - 20 minutes, and scared some people in a canoe they flipped and fell out of the canoe. thought the swamp monster had em'. Quote
