A can of Full Throttle in the morning and Gatorade and Water during the rest of the day.

I don't like to eat out in the boat for fear I may have to make a mad dash for shore---if you know what I mean....and I think you do!!!!

If I ate White Castle in the boat I would be in BIG trouble.  I only eat those in close proximity to the bathroom :o

Gatorade and a couple of Cliff Bars - the carrot cake is my favorite Cliff bar flavor, although the chocolate brownie ain't half bad.

The Cliff bars are good to go regardless of the season - they don't melt in the heat and won't freeze in the cold - but the really cold ones are a bit of a dental challenge.

As mentioned, hydration is important but so is dehydration, sometimes I have to use the Gatorade bottle a second time . . . . ;)

Depends on the fishing I'm doing.

If I'm messing around on the lake catching bass and whatnot, a pepsi and a smoke makes me a happy man.  Toss in a few waters and I'm set. When I'm out offshore fishing I'll pound water or Gatorade down all day long.  If I'm diving I'll usually open up a pepsi after getting back out of the water, it feels good on your lips after having the snorkle in for a while.  And grapes.  The regular junk food always finds it's way onto the boat as well though (chips/m&m's/etc etc).

I don't bring a snack.

I carry a couple of bottles of water, just in case.

In the heat of the summer, I will bring a small cooler with iced water and coke. That's the only time I've bothered to take on liquid.

When I'm really into something, I'm like a camel. Can go eight hours without a pit stop.

I couldn't have said it any better myself, LOL!  ;D

What, nobody here actually brings > food < ???

I mean some of you bring nothing.... and a lot of others just bring a "snack" ?

I dunno'..... either you guys fish shorter average trips that I do, or you can go for 14 or 16 hours without eating ! Sure, I might only be on the water for 8 or 10 hours, but I usually eat breakfast an hour or two before I leave.... then maybe 3 to 4 hours of travel (for the round trip).

So anyway, I bring a good sized icebox, with two sandwiches, chips, some kind of sweets, a banna or apple.... maybe a gatorade, and either way, a gallon jug of icewater.

A "snack" is what I have > between < my two full meals (usually at about 11 am, and 5pm) while on the water ;-)

Sure, I wish I were as skinny as some of you, but if I let myself get really hungry, next is the headache, and loss of energy, and that hurts my fishing effectiveness. And that's no acceptable.

Hmmm,

Peace,

Fish

i like to take sandwich and crackers. During the heat of the summer i will take a jug of gatorade. Last summer it was hot enough that my partner and i went through almost 3 gallons of that stuff in a 4 hour period.

Gatorade and a couple of Cliff Bars

That is exactly what I carry.  Clif Bars actually taste pretty good, are filling, and give you some long lasting energy.  They are a holdover from my old bicycle racing days.

Depends on how long I think I will be out.  Water, or gatorade to drink generally.  If I am taking food, its about guaranteed I'll have some peanut butter and crackers. JiF crunchy knifed onto town house and don't be stingy on the PB.  Maybe a Little Debbie cake  or some kind too.

I don't eat! I am in my own little world and in the zone. If I am guideing that is different but, if in a tournament or out with buds  I am in the zone. I may have a soda. :D

Hey Catt, I know. That's my point.... Either you guys are not away from food for 14 to 16 hours on a regular basis like I am, or you can go a REALLY long time without eating. A little snack wouldn't cut it for me....

Peace,

I'm definitely a sunflower seed and jerky kind of guy. I like stuff that doesn't go bad when it gets hot and if I leave it in the boat, it will be good for a couple weeks. Seeds and jerky with some sweet tea or water, and I could be gone for days! lol

Red vines! Just don't get them mixed with your strawberry colored worms!

Hey... wait a minute. They'd be a lot cheaper than Senkos....
