smdono Posted March 31, 2009 Author Posted March 31, 2009 I am suprised of all the responses I got from this. i don't dislike the guy but his show is just to much. I feel he tries to hard. but i do *** him because i wouldn't mind bsin on a fishing show Quote
Super User Sam Posted April 1, 2009 Super User Posted April 1, 2009 Charlie Moore is as funny as a crutch. Waste of time. I change the channel when he comes on. A good paid commercial for dog pooper scoopers in place of his show will be an improvement. > Quote
Muad Dib Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 hahahahah funny thread. maybe it should be titled top 5 things id rather do than watch charlie moores fishing show 5. Watch that famous informercial on the banjo minnow. seen it amillion times 4. braid my armpit hair. haha 3. floss my teeth 2. wax my rod(take it as you will) 1. untangle 15 baitcasters that have been fished with by 8 year olds. hahah good god that show is awful Quote
MN Bass Man Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 So, with all the talk about Bill Dance earlier, I thought it would be a good place to post this link: http://sports.espn.go.com/outdoors/bassmaster/news/story?page=b_fea_DOTL_Dance_20090331 It's about Dance's Day on the Lake in this months Bassmaster Magazine. CatBassin Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 Just can't stand the guy's voice. If I were the cameraman I would drop him off in the middle of the lake and wish him the worst as I sped off. Quote
unhbass37 Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 I personally like Bill Dance better. Bass pros is OK to. Quote
arul Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 Yes- how the heck did this make it on ESPN? How about some new Day on the Lake episodes????? INSTEAD. So incredibly annoying and bad... I watched for 10 minutes and have never returned. Quote
U.W BronzeBack Hunter Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 He's easily the biggest ********* i've ever seen in the sport of fishing. He doesn't even know how to fish... next time, see how he grips a spinning rod Quote
paragon Posted April 4, 2009 Posted April 4, 2009 The show a I saw today was a whole other level of crap. The guy can't fish. He was fishing small ponds in FL. Every fish he caught no matter how small, he would drag up the bank through the grass. I don't think I have done that in my life. And throwing rods, I would hate to be on a golf course with him. jackass... Quote
smallie.huntin Posted April 5, 2009 Posted April 5, 2009 who hasn't thrown something whether it be a rod or club on a golf course? Quote
paragon Posted April 5, 2009 Posted April 5, 2009 When I was little and my dad started teaching me how to play golf. He told me if he ever saw me throw a club he would not let me play. I am going on 40 and happy to say I have never thrown a club. I have however thrown a few balls in the water or woods and stormed off. stupid stupid game. But I cant stop. oh. Charlie Moore, jackass Quote
DunnFishing Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 Speaking of shows, Did anyone see Jeff Kriet's day on the the Lake? Quote

502largemouth Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 Jeez, first I cannot even believe this is still around....lol. Second, I cannot believe how people react to that man. I personally like the show, only shows I like better are day on the lake and WGFS(but without Zona, it would suck) Thing is, they ALL must film like 4 episodes for a new seaon.... I mean, seriously, how stupid is it to have 4 new episodes and then nothing for months.....ESPN seems to not do a good job at all keeping fresh content for fishing on its network. I guess you have to be able to dribble a ball or pass a piece of leather downfield to get any REAL attention. I have, in the last few weeks, decided pretty much to not even bother watchin anymore. Not worth my time to get up and then sit half the morning on a couch hoping for something new. Before you down the guy for not being the kind of entertainment you enjoy, just change the channel, theres a lot of shows I dont like on TV and I just pick up the clicker when they come on. Better yet, dont be at home when his show is on, shouldnt you be half way down a lake by that time with your hook buried in a log or something.....lol. Cyas, D Quote
SnowBass23 Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 Before you down the guy for not being the kind of entertainment you enjoy, just change the channel, theres a lot of shows I dont like on TV and I just pick up the clicker when they come on. It sounds like that is what the majority of posters here do! ;D But, since the OP asked our opinion of him, now is our chance to vent! I'm sure he has accomplished a lot, all on his own, and that in and of itself is something commendable. But, creating something out of nothing is not a reason for me to watch it, or to like your 'persona'! I can't stand how he acts, as others have said, dragging bass through the grass, throwing stuff, acting all over the top. I'll give him a golf clap for his accomplishments, but if it came down to it, I'd rather stick a hot soldering iron in my mouth than watch his show... Quote
Bassnajr Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 He is an entertainer...NOTHING MORE!!! The "Harlem Globetrotter" of the new England fishing world if you will. He is like an auto accident. You don't want to watch, but find yourself stopping on the channel to gawk. Watch him or don't.......no biggie!! ajr Quote
502largemouth Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 Yea, I guess thats true man. I just always like the guys who clown a lot while out there fishing. When me and my buddy Jude go fishing, its a laugh a minute. We clown nonstop(we are safe on the water, mind you, safety first)and I cant imagine not being able to have that fun while at the same time chasing those green beauties around. It just wouldnt be the same. We have even talked about taking my girlfriend along to film and doing a public access show and all that. I guess I would have people reacting the same way to us in some respects....lol. Long live fun on the water, cuz without it, this sport is dead. Cyas, D Quote
Little Luey Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 He may be the most annoying, but I still think the worst fishing show is Charlie Ingrams Fishing University. I agree i hate him and his ugly,stupid,2 tone, diamond gusset jeans. Really who is going to wear those, and he looks so uncomfortable in them. I agree. Fishing university is no more than a 1/2 hour infomercial, always pushing his friends boats or lures. Quote
