Where can I move?

So, I just found out my area has a winter storm watch this weekend.  Up to 6 inches of snow.  I am sick of this state.  If you guys could pick the ideal place to live with respect to fishing year round, where would it be?

I live in so.cali, If I had to move it'd Texas. I know there are other states that have good fishin, but I hate the Cold..lol

Believe me, I'm considering it when I'm done with school.  What would you consider the best part of the state for bass fishing?  I've considered Jacksonville, because of the Mayo Clinic.  I live in Rochester, home of Mayo.

I would pick NC.  Even though it snows down here a little bit I think the weather would present some pretty good scenarios to you to try and figure out, because we can have 110 degree summers and 10 degree winters.  Also we have a lot of different species from SM to LM even walleye. But thats just my opinion.

Depends what you do for a living. You can get good fishing year round anywhere south.

In the Charlotte area or Triad, we have a lot of decent jobs in some markets, lots of awesome fishing right here, then we are close to some clutch spots in SC, GA, TN, and such. We got bass fishing in the lakes, trout fishing in the mountains, and deep sea at the coast.

We actually have seasons, but winter is short and our lakes do not freeze.

I'm currently getting a B.S. in business administration, and considering an MBA as soon as I'm done.  So I should be able to find something almost anywhere.  Bt I am so sick of cold and snow that I can't stand it anymore.

I live in S. Florida but would rather live in the area of the Stick Marsh, which I plan on doing as soon as I retire.  Not only would you have the Stick Mars but you're not far from St. Johns river.

Texas is where its at. There are ponds, creeks, rivers, big lakes, small lakes, LAKE FORK, the coast is within a days drive or less of all the major cities and we don't have California's gas prices or emissions control standards. We have a bumper stick that says I wasn't born here but I got here as soon as a could.

I live in TN and I love it.  I can fish all year long.  The water doesn't freeze in the winter and you can catch some big fish that time of the year.

I think most people's idea of the fishing out here is soooooo over inflated.

I want to move BAD.

For bass fishing, I would go to Texas, but I dont think bass fishing is even a consideration for my next move. I'm thinking of going back to Colorado, but a completely different part of the state from where I grew up.

Alabama or North Carolina for me.  They still have four seasons, some hills, and a little snow, but you could still fish 300 days out of the year.

Both have a coast line and that would just be a bonus to me.

north east or south central florida. either the st. johns, orange, stickmarsh, and harris chain or okeechobee, istapoga, kissimmee chain, gator chain and so many more florida is the best.

Oh yeah you would do well in RTP or Charlotte. The coolest thing I like about NC is the varied climate. You have the mountains. If for some reason you want snow, it is up there in the winter, you can get some skiiing in. It is about 1.5 -2 hours from Gastonia. I can get to the coast in 3 hours. Within a decent drive you got lakes all across the Catawba river chain. You got those mountain streams. You got a ton of stuff out in east NC. Then SC is full of productive lakes.

Once my wife and I finish with college it's out full intention to move to middle TN.  After spending several vacations down there I'm in love with it.
