Man, The bait monkey got me again today, and this time it was a space monkey! Actually, today I bought a couple bags of the entire Rage Tail line, so my question is for those of you who have used them. I know these things have quite a few rigging options, but what do you say on water conditions that they work best in, and what works best? I'm looking forward to throwing an Anaconda or a Space Monkey, they look delicious! Thanks

I've had very good results on river Smallies using the rage tail craw on a weighted EWG worm hook.  Also have had some success with LM Bass using the same set up.

I caught several of bass using an 5/0 EWG on these bad boys last summer. Usually at almost dusk they would bite and hit these guys.

Yes!!!!! Thank you all for your comments, I'm thinking early this year I'll start throwing some jigs with the craws for trailers, then the shad during prespawn on the lakes and ponds, then the lizard will probly kill 'em while they're on the beds, then it's on with the space monkey, anaconda, and lobster all summer! It's gonna be a great year!

Just wait till you get to fishing the shad. Its and amazing little bait. Rig her up on a 5\0 ewg superline hook and hang on. Fish just try and destroy the shad. I like throwing them in the morning over grass mats and aroud pads. But they will produce anywere. The frog is awesome too. The whole line is great and produces fish. The Anna is a big fish killer too.

Just purchased the Shad and Chunks myself to use around grass beds and as a jig trailer. The water is just starting to thaw out and can't wait to try them. The website mentioned also has plenty of rigging info and ideas for each one of the products in the lineup.

I agree x2

Those shads will get destroyed. Plus it works like a weedless buzzbait. Worth a try for sure.

The toad works great for me on a owner 6/0 hook with the screw lock. I am not sure what model it is but it works much better for me then a 5/0 ewg hook.

Oh tip on the shad if they miss let the bait drop to the bottom and then sit and almost lift it like a worm real slow . I pick up a few that have missed the bait doing this.
