Me and my Dad are in Kansas City this week for the DFA Dairy show. This where I am writing this post right now in the Hyatt Regency Lobby. But this is beside the point. I went to the Cabela's and was looking around when me and my dad made a B-line to the to the bargain cave. We had been on the market for a GPS system for the boat, but with eveything being 500+ dollars and the economy we just couldn't get one. Well then we went to the GPS Fishfinder section in the bargain cave. Ohhhh baby! We picked up a 500 dollar LOWRANCE. For the whopping price of   199.77 By the way. This unit was brand new. This was verified by the marine guy there. He also gave us 101 on how to use it. This is the by far best experience ever at a retail of this caliber We also picked up a HOTMAPS chip for 75 bucks!

We have a Cabela's about 2 1/2 hrs. from my house. The only time I was there I got new in box Shimano Solstace spinning reel for $15.00, because it didn't have the papers in the box. My buddy got a bunch of hunting stuff also. There are alot of great deals in the Bargain Cave.

I am pretty sure the Lowrance 5000 and 5000c are GPS chartplotter units only. If you are looking for a fish finder/GPS, or just a fish finder, better double check you purchase. I hope you got what you were looking for. I almost made that mistake. i was looking for a 520c and almost bought a 5200c, which is only a GPS unit.

ood luck!!!

I love the bargain cave, but I was kinda of disappointed when I went to a actual Cabelas store and the bargain cave looked like a room full of miscellaneous junk. Haha, but it varies store to store, Great Find!

I got just the GPS unit. I already have a fishfinder so I will just have two seperate units I kinda like it that way. A bigger viewing screen.
