I had a friend that just called me from a BPS store and I asked him to get me a pack of 6'' Senkos. He told me they were $6.99 for a 5 pack. HUH?! What the!!!!! Was he mistaken? I thought I paid $5.99 for a 10 pack last year. Am I losing my mind, or was he just wrong? Where can I get the least expensive deal on them do you think?

Dicks puts Yamamoto on sale for 25% off a couple of times a year. I use the Dicks coaches coupon on top of that (save $5 on a $15 purchase). I bet I used 8 coupons. 3 bags of Senkos comes up $15.72 after the 25% off. Save $5 with the coaches coupon and you have 3 bags of Senkos for $10.72. I'd use 2 coupons per visit (the cashier was cool with doing two separate transactions). You can have your cake and eat it, too if you are a savvy shopper.

A bottle of good soft plastic super glue will pay for itself in no time. (Pro's Softbait Glue) And yes, repaired baits catch fish as well as new ones.

I have a few years of Senkos stocked and I'm not sure what the average price has been. It's probably not as cheap as The Natural, but less than $5. Back to GYCB Senkos... That's what I fish and I think there are advantages that justify a higher price. Try GYCB soft plastics and see what you think. If it turns out you have wasted a few dollars, so what? Fish what you like, GYCB works for me. 8-)

As long as that bait has been on the market the process should be very efficient and costs even less than they were originally. I think he has made a big mistake with that price increase given the state of the economy a lot of guys won't be buying at all and most that do are not going to pay that price, I hope they sit on the shelves and rot. How about it Gary, do you want to come on this site and try to justify your price? Or have you become too greedy and arrogant? There is a principal here, and I will not buy another Yammatto product until they are priced more fairly. >

We'll see, time will tell.

As I pointed out earlier, the OP was specifically asking about SIX inch senkos and not 4 or 5 inch ones. The SIX inch senkos come in 5 packs and not 10 packs like the 4 and 5 inch ones.

He was talking about the larger size, not the 5". b the cost isn't bad when you get 'a few bites'. Figure how much it would cost to catch 40 of 'em. How about guides? Handing those worms out two or three at a time? Personally, if you're catching 40 of them, then I'd say you could probably find another pattern thats even more efficient. If I paid a guide, and he handed me Senkos, I'd be a little disappointed. I guess I see them as a follow up bait, more than a primary bait or search bait.
