Are they worth a darn?

No, they suck. Seems to be a perfectly appropriate answer to a question that could only have two outcomes. They are or are not worth a "darn"

You didnt ask for details, you asked if they are any good, my opinion that they are not, is perfectly clear.

Micro I could post negative things about all the junk baits I see escpecialy the junk swimbaits but I try not to. I would rather not post negative escpecialy on a public forum. I am sure I have in the past but I try not to do it much. If you have any questions about any swimbaits you can send me a PM and I will give you my honest opinion without trying to sell you one of mine. For the record I rarley disagree with anything Fourbizz has posted about swimbaits. I have also personaly fished or have friends that have fished just about every swimbait on the market. I can relate to what Forbizz is saying. He and Randall know  thier stuff. MOST IMPORTANT they know their stuff from first hand experiance not from reading about it like most guys who give swimbait advise.

You already bought the bait so its a mute point. Go out and fish it and make up your own opinion. keep in mind though that anytime you get a "deal" and the bait does not meet your expectation that ABSOLUTLY does not mean that a higher priced bait that apereas to be similar will perform like the "deal"

I know Fourbizz knows what he's talking about.  I'm just sorry he felt I was being picky when I was just trying to get to the meat of the issue.  That's a problem with the internet.  I sounded picky, and that wasn't my intent.

As far as getting a deal, I certainly didn't buy it because I thought I was getting a good deal.  In fact, I thought it was sort of expensive.  I paid MSRP for it.  I just wanted to try something new.   It looked good, and it still looks good.  You're right, it's a mute point.   I already have it.   (I tend to do that, but luckily I've been pleasantly suprised by most of what I've bought.)  I'm going to throw it.  If it works, great.  If it doesn't, I'll give it to some poor boob that doesn't know any better and he'll probably catch his personal best on it  ;D.

Micro, its all good here. I get too worked up sometimes. My apologies.

bassmaster, i am far from being a good swimbaiter, but im one of the best at buying baits I wished I hadnt ;D

For a bait in that smaller range ( as far as big baits go) there are a ton of options in a wide range of prices.

As far as three piece hardbaits, the pickings are slim at the cheaper levels.

Matts Gill, while certainly not cheap, is a steal at $50. The triple trout at about $70 is good. the 6 and 8" real deal from 3:16 are amazing, but your wallet will feel it.

as far as big baits in general there are a ton of good cheap baits.

as i mentioned, I think the river2sea bottomwalkers are great baits, and cheap too. the megabait bass grande/LA Slider are good deepwater baits as well.

matts soft baits, 3:16 rising son and mission fish. tons of good baits out there for less than 20 but with very few exceptions, you will only get really good baits from California companies that have been at it awhile. Thats just how it is. There are guys out here that have been building them for nearly 20 years, only recently has all the garbage started to show up.
