fastcasterjo Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 Theres a time to do crazy stuff like this. But Bass Pro, come on! They could be doing something much more worth while, like wasting precious dollars on fishing lures. ;D ;D Quote
I Love BassResource Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 Lol that's awesome. Idiotic sure, but there are far worse things they could have (and may have) done. I don't condone it, but at that age, I may have contemplated doing it. lol Quote
Dean Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 Quote That's great.... ;D ...it's even funnier the 2nd time around! Quote
fishfanatic Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 Ok i did laugh and I did crazy stuff as a kid but I wouldnt have pulled a stunt like that. the potential for damage or injury would have prevented me from something that stupid sneeking into motel pools ok did that Quote
Blake R. Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 Never thought of jumping in... "Test pitching" A jig into the tank and sight fishing the biggest fish into biting? Absolutely contemplate it, every time. Quote

If any of my 4 girls did anything like this, they would be wanting the police the catch them instead of me. That being said, when was 14-18 I was so totally out of control. The stuff I pulled, a lot of which I am not to proud of, could have and should have killed me or someone else. I had a total disregard for the potential for injury or death. Not because I did not care but because I was immortal. I never really thought about the possible repercussion of my actions. I had an uncle that died when he was 18, jumping off Indian Falls in NY. On his way up, he slipped fell, hit his head and died. That is the main source of my outrage, these kids could have killed themselves or others. That and the society we live in, they would have sued BPS and WON millions for getting hurt doing something illegal in the first place. <CRACK!!!> alright broke the soap box (knew I should not have had that large lunch), have a good one everyone. Super User J Francho Posted March 17, 2009 Super User Posted March 17, 2009 Quote Never thought of jumping in... "Test pitching" A jig into the tank and sight fishing the biggest fish into biting? Absolutely contemplate it, every time. On our last club outing to the Bass Pro in Auburn, we convinced a salesman to take the hooks off a Live Sammy and cast it in the tank to to see the action. Needless to say, there was a huge pickerel that rocketed from the other side and took it as it hit the water, LOL. We were all like little kids with our noses pressed against the glass watching.
