SteveF Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 I have found that the Thin Senko is excellent on a shaky head, and I believe that the Pro Senko with the fatter head will be even better. Quote
Super User Sam Posted March 8, 2009 Super User Posted March 8, 2009 *** plastics. Trick Worms. Slider worms. Powerbait Shaky Head worms. The Shake2 jig heads from MegaStrike are fantastic. I took some to my local swimming pool and dropped then in the water with various plastic worms and they sat up straight, did not turn over on their sides, and looked so good I almost bit one. Check out the MegaStrike web site and upgrade to the Shake2 jigs. You will not be sorry. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted March 9, 2009 Super User Posted March 9, 2009 The GYCB Kut-Tail 6 1/2" Kahuna is a match made in heaven. 8-) Quote
Triton20XSD Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 I throw mostly 3/16 oz Bagley's shakey heads with Zoom Finesse worms, Berkley shakey worms, & some straight tail Robo worms. I have heard the Zoom Trick worms are supposed to work real well but I have not tried them on a shakey head yet. Quote
djmax22 Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 Last year I threw a lot of shakey head with various worms. My favorite worms were the Jackall Flick shake 5.8. However, I fished anything from a Zoom trick worm all the way up to a 11" Netbait needle worm. The Berkley power worms, roboworm, and senkos worked too. Basically, I came to the conclusion any worm will work, but I has more confidence with the Jackall when the bass had lockjaw. Quote
Super User Gatorbassman Posted March 9, 2009 Super User Posted March 9, 2009 they kept falling over. Was than in the water or out? Quote
Mark J Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 Picasso Shakedown Jig with a trick worm or Netbait T-mac Quote
wisturkeyhunter Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 I'm a newbie to shakey heads but the little bit I did last fall yamamoto kut tail worms, zoom trick worms, and other straight worms worked good. Quote
FishGA Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 6'9" medium fast Carrot Stick rod with a Shimano spinning reel. Microfuse braid (Glacier White) with a 6 foot Suffix leader. A 3/16 SpotSticker head and a 4" Zoom Dead Ringer in Watermelon Seed dipped in JJ's Magic Chartruse. Thats the ticket across the board! Quote
