rattletrapper Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 what is the average cost of the kentucky lake trip with evrything included? Quote
Super User Jimzee Posted February 27, 2009 Super User Posted February 27, 2009 I'm gonna have somewhere in the ballpark of $350.00 for this trip. That includes gas down and back, gas for the boat, and camping fees. This has one stipulation, keeping me away from tackle shops on the way down. Wouldn't you know it, we are meeting up with the rest of the guys for the ride down at...yep, you guessed it, a large tackle shop. :-[ Quote
Super User Gatorbassman Posted February 27, 2009 Super User Posted February 27, 2009 That all depends on alot of things but I would say that most guys are spending between 300 and 500 for the trip. This does not include the three coming from the Leftcoast. Quote
BASS fisherman Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 I am coming from Pa and plan on around $1000.00 Hopefully less though! Quote
Super User Long Mike Posted February 27, 2009 Super User Posted February 27, 2009 Round trip drive from Tulsa, room rental, slip rental, meals, gas for the boat, $500. Being able to attend a BR Road trip - PRICELESS! Quote
Super User cart7t Posted February 27, 2009 Super User Posted February 27, 2009 I'm coming from St louis which is only 230 miles from the lake, I imagine I'll spend around $300-350 total. Quote
Triton21 Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 I am traveling about 150 miles so I figure about $300-$350. Quote
Super User firefightn15 Posted February 27, 2009 Super User Posted February 27, 2009 I've got about a 600 mile trip and set aside $1000 for everthing, including a little for incidentals. Quote
Scott Davis Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 I have been coming to Kentucky Lake for spring bass fishing for the past 4 years. I would guess it averages about $800-$1000. I have a 12 hour trailer from Northern Wisconsin so gas is a big chunk of that. This year at $2.00 will be a lot better than last year. I stay in the Aurora area for about $50/night. License is $30/7 day. Scott... Quote
