Davis Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 I have the Red 19.99 one and it is awesome for shorefisherman. I wouldn't go any bigger honestly. More than enough room for the things that I want to take on a trip. Held up very well. No complaints from me. Quote
Olebiker Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 I just bought the big green one and I love it. My old boat does not have lockable storage and I have to store it outside, so I need to take my tackle out of the boat after each trip. I can carry just about everything I need in that bag. One of the best features on it is the sunglasses case on the front. Quote
BuzzBait25 Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 I have the big one and have been using it about a year. I haven't had any issues out of it. The shoulder strap is great. Thank god it is padded because like mentioned before once you fill that thing up it weights about 60 or 70 pounds. Quote
deadeye32. Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 I've had one for at least 5-6 years and it has held up great. All zippers still work great and I cant think of one bad thing to say about it. Quote
kmiecik Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 bought one of these last winter and that night while i was loading the boxes up with lures at least 4 of the 8 boxes broke on me. i returned it a few days later. has this happened to anyone else? Quote
Hawg Fan Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 I bought the smaller red version and took the plastic boxes out and use it as a bag for my soft plastics..or outings where I dont have any room Quote
kmiecik Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 has anyone tried the Fleet Farm by Plano bag? it is 46 bucks and it comes with 8 Plano 3700 boxes so it is almost worth it just for the boxes Quote
fishing man Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 yeah i saw this bag at a walmart around my house but didnt buy it right away, now they are not carrying them, and i want one, does anyone know of where i can buy one like online or some other store??? Quote
Super User .dsaavedra. Posted February 8, 2009 Author Super User Posted February 8, 2009 i think they're only at walmart. are you sure they stopped carrying them for good, not just that their current stock is out and they might be getting a shipment soon? Quote
Super User CWB Posted February 8, 2009 Super User Posted February 8, 2009 If like me you already have too many boxes: http://cgi.ebay.com/OKEECHOBEE-FATS-FISHING-TACKLE-BAG-17-X-13-X-10-5-NEW_W0QQitemZ330306529770QQihZ014QQcategoryZ22696QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem The boxes it comes with aren't too good anyway. B75nweav Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 I've got one and love it also! When you get it loaded down though it could really use some wheel's....... Quote

Yup, I replaced all the boxes that came with it for Plano boxes and I use the provided boxes for extra storage at the house. Quote
fishintroop Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 I've had one for 2 years now. I switched out the boxes for 5 Plano 3700 bulk storage boxes and the Falcon hook and weight organizer. It does weigh a ton though Quote
Azman737 Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 I wont leave home without the Fats 1200 bag....its my 2nd year with mine and i decided to put wheels under it....us "ol Gummers' over 60 gotta have everything on wheels Quote
TruflShufl Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 I know Dick's is carrying the small Okeechobee fats bag. Bought my bigger one (not the 1200) at wal-mart last year and it hasn't failed me yet. The baggies in the lid are kind of junk but the bag itself seems to be holding up well. Quote
