Super!

I look forward to meeting you in person. Alpster can help coordinate

some of the arrangements, I know we have several guys looking for

a roommate and a number of people flying into Nashville.

The best thing to do if you want to fish your own equipment is to mail

it to the lodge. Check with the airline to compare costs. Otherwise,

I have gear you can use and I'm sure we can round-up anything you

might need.

Ive been biting my nails after that airline buy.... waiting for someone to say something lol... whatever anyone is up to I just want to have a good week, meet good people, and have a hellava good fishing week. I will already have a light carry on for overnight clothing (bad trips), video camera, and my day clothes...

If anyone could support the gear I would be very much oblidged... Ill supply the video

Im bringing my Pro-Sumer Canon XL2 and Ill pack the 3X on boat wide angle and 20X zoom Lense for across the lake :)

Idaho***er - Keri and I will be arriving Saturday at the same airport. I haven't booked the flight yet, but if we land when you're there, you're welcome to ride with us to the lake.

That Cannon is a sweet camera! Bring your wireless mics too.  You'll want to use them.  I'll be bringing my Sony HVR-V1U to the event. Between those two and LBH's cameras, and anyone else who brings a video camera, we should have some great footage this year!

Depends on the carrier and how much they charge (or don't charge) for oversized for checked baggage.  Some charge a fee for every checked baggage, progressively getting larger per bag (AA charges $100 for the 3rd bag! Yikes!).  Some charge if they're over 50lbs (Delta charges $90!).

So the first question is: how much baggage are you bringing and what will it cost?  The compare that with shipping the gear to Kentucky instead.

Keri and I bring A LOT of stuff (for obvious reasons), so we ship all the gear and just bring our suitcases with us for the trip.

IF YOU DO bring fishing gear with you while flying, ALWAYS go to the oversized package pickup first before getting your luggage (if you're bringing rods).  This is where you pick up golf clubs and such.  These things tend to "walk off" if you're not there to pick them up as soon as they appear.  I know of several pros and golfing friends who have lost their gear this way.  There's no security to stop it from happening.

Fair warning.

He aint lying either...

Ronnie, as far as cooking goes, are you basing the amount of food on the number of people signed up or do you have a specific number in your mind already?  Trying to gauge my meal...

Looks like I will be rooming with Fluke. So i've been doing lots of research on the Lake and I think I will ship a lure/bait bag but if someone has a rod or two I could use that would save me some extra cash.

If I didn't have my video camera, my gear wouldn't be a problem but I definetly want to get some good video, and the write off is a plus.

There will be video opportunities-a-plenty during the week down there.

I have no doubt about that one.   ;D

Wayne,

I am looking at the signup list. We can add 10% for maybe a few stragglers or those who can't stay the whole week. Somehow we have to be able to plan, so I am trying to stick with the signup list as much as possible.
