Strike King Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 I watch it all the time and love it! THATS MY LIMIT !!!!!!!!! Quote
tritz18 Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 I like it, makes u wonder were else u can catch bass Quote
Super User islandbass Posted January 26, 2009 Super User Posted January 26, 2009 I like this show too. I am waiting for the one where he came to my back yard, Seattle. I think he had a tough time when he was here and I am not certain he caught any, but it showed how tough it can be here, even with a boat. I hope he caught a few. He should have tried Lake Union fo sho, just a canal away and still in the city. Quote
Super User SirSnookalot Posted January 26, 2009 Super User Posted January 26, 2009 I loved the Tampa show, he was so impressed catching Jack Crevelles. Quote
Team_Dougherty Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 It is a good show. I really liked the Philly show. it took place on the Schuylkill River. I fish it all the time. Quote

He should have tried Lake Union fo sho, just a canal away and still in the city. I think this show was half salmon and half bass fishing. I don't think the weather was very good and the fishing was even worst. If I'm not mistaken, Glenn was there and Iaconelli actually used his boat to fish for bass. Glenn would be the one to answer that one. Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted January 26, 2009 BassResource.com Administrator Posted January 26, 2009 Yes, that's correct. Here's the link: http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1219898636/0#0 Show airs Feb 13th. Quote
Crumb Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 Thanks for the heads up Glenn. I can't wait to see the show. I can't believe that even the east channel bridge didn't give up at least one smallie. I guess that shows you how big that front really was. Oh by the way, just out of curiosity, those spots that he hit wouldn't have been some of your secret spots would they? Hmm, I guess I'll probably never know. Quote
Captain Obvious Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 I watch the show and I like it, though I could do without some of the beeping out, but other than that great show, did he ever do one in Dallas? There is some great fishing around there Quote
ChiCityBasser Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 I like the show as well and loved the Chicago episode since I have walked over many of those downtown area bridges where he caught his limit Quote
Super User skunked_again Posted January 27, 2009 Author Super User Posted January 27, 2009 mike iaconelli in my boat would be like mark martin in my car. that is sweet. Quote
arul Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 I love this show. It is my favorite. I am new to the sport, and didn't even realize until about 4 episodes in that Mike Iaconelli was actually big time pro fisherman. I just thought he was some entertaining Joe Blow off the street doing a public access television show. I got his book, and highly recommend it. I can't wait for new episodes though... when they coming out??? Quote
Captain Obvious Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 Check on Versus they have the full schedule Quote
Bass Dude Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 That is a great show! It's like Day on The Lake---no promoting products, just going out and fishing!!! I love the episode last year where is was fishing in NY City. It was hilarious to see him driving through Manhattan with his truck and bass boat!! It was as out of place as wearing shoulder pads to the grocery store!! Quote
bassmedic46 Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 I haven't seen the show in a while, I have a few of Mike Iaconellis Dvds and have been impressed with him. Does any one know if you can get dvds of the show? Quote

Bassaholic84 Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 This show is one of my favorite. Ike is my favorite pro fisherman. He calls into DC101 radio station a good bit and he is such an energetic and enthusiastic guy. How can you not love his scream when he catches one and how he almost falls EVERY time he sets the hook. My favorite is when they fish DC. That area of the potomac is known for LM and alls they were catching were good size SM almost unheard of down there. GREAT SHOW Quote
Super User islandbass Posted January 28, 2009 Super User Posted January 28, 2009 Glenn and Crumb, Thanks! I cannot wait to see this episode. I recall when that was posted last year. It was a brutal front. Unfotrunately, I have only fished from a bass boat for bass once in my life and I am normally shorebound. I have heard of certain spots that produce, but they require a boat. I can tell you where to get them from the shore though in Lake Union. Quote
Super User CWB Posted January 28, 2009 Super User Posted January 28, 2009 Love it also. Nothing beats Ike going Ike! Loved the Chicago show. (My hometown) I thought after the Classic was held here there would be more attention. Can relate to the freakin Zebra Mussels. > Quote
