Randall Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 I guess I don't live far enough South. In GA it was 12 degrees at my house yesterday morning and 10 degrees today. A shallow pond down the street is completely covered in ice. But, it won't be long until it warms up here and things get back to normal. Usually by Feburary we are starting to warm up and wearing the fish out. Quote
Super User Raul Posted January 17, 2009 Super User Posted January 17, 2009 Hey look, it 's cotton candy ! Quote

Super User Bassn Blvd Posted January 17, 2009 Super User Posted January 17, 2009 Don't worry Muddy, here's how bad we have it in S. Florida today. Its 69 right now at 2:07 pm. The kids are going to the fair, the wife, baby and I are going to a BBQ and the bass are moving onto the beds. The high for tomorrow is around 74 which means the bass fishing should be dynamite. I'll take some good pictures for ya. I think perhaps I will wear flip flops tomorrow. Quote
Super User Gatorbassman Posted January 17, 2009 Super User Posted January 17, 2009 It saddens me to see all my brothers of the North suffering through this hard water delema :'( ........................................NOT!!!!! I'll be back on the lake Monday morning. Quote
BassChump Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 I currently live near the Oregon coast. Cold and rainy most of the time although our waters don't get hard. I've decided to move (along with my daughter and 81 year old mother) to the Phoenix area so with a little luck by this time next year I too can poke a little fun at all the "northerners"...... Looking forward >>>>>>>>>>> Quote
Cigarlover 1 Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 What is that white stuff called? :-? Muddy's butt cheeks. ;D Quote

SnowBass23 Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 Not far enough south, here either! It was 40ish today, but hit about 60 at some point. Should be warming up nicely in about 4 weeks!!! Quote
JShrock07 Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 I know I don't live that far north but highs around here these last few days were in the 20's. I cannot wait until it gets at least 50 so I can start some new techniques. If I catch a fish or not oh well at least I'll be back out on the water. Quote
bighed Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 Yeah, but all us folks here in the South are jealous of your long Curling season. :'( :'( :'( Quote

silvercliff_46 Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 guess i'm kinda stuck in the middle. the nights are really cold and below freezing............but today the high is 73 and sunny. b (we all know that still isn't anywhere near the middle. HA! :P and one more for the 'butt-mud' pic ) ;D ;D ;D Nights are COLD! Man I though today was nice. It was all the way up to 15 above. I guess there might have been a wind chill, but I didn't notice. After all it was 35 degrees warmer then the temps a couple of days ago, and 65 degrees warmer then the wind chill was then. Ya might say it's down right balmy around here now. Tomorrow it's going up to 18 so I'm driving out to my favorite spot on the lake, punchin' a hole and going fishing. I hope I don't forget the sun block. Quote
