Have met the man once. Good gentleman.

I'm not sure of his condition but, on BASS tour I've noticed he wore half mask and gloves in hot months. Just today I was watching his episode for tarpon and snook he was wearing gloves, again. My guess is, his skin does not react well to sunlight or sunburn. Rare disease, forgot what it's called but...

Yeah, hope he is OK.

If you have Lyme disease and are on one of the medications I know you can't be out in the sun. At several tournies this year it could be 90 out and there would be some guys dressed with masks, gloves, everything so almost no part of them was in the sun for too long.

We are just loaded with them up here. If you have dogs you really need to be careful because they will bring them inside, then they fall off, and you can find them crawling around your house and on the walls in the middle of winter.

There was a development built on an area that was loaded with Deer Ticks and the homeowners went after the town to do something about the problem. The little buggers were just everywhere and causing health issues.

Geez.  Theres enough ticks around here, but I know of very few Lyme disease cases.  Just another reason not to let a pet in the house.

Mr. Grigsby went through a triple by-pass surgery in 2004. Perhaps he is having problems with something else with his heart. The last show I saw he did look a bit gaunt.

A house without a pet (when I say pet, I mean dogs, cats don't qualify) is a depressing place. ;)

A reason not to let a pet in the house?!?!?! Me and 2 of my neighbors just had the loacal pet shelter take my neighbors dog from him because he left it out through 100 degree heat and snowstorms! Why have a pet and leave him tied up outside 24 7. Crazy.

Back on topic......

I don't think it's Lyme disease....

I was thinking more cancer of some sort. Looked like he had lost all his hair and was wearing a wig. Lost lots of weight.

What do you think Strike King....you saw the same ad I did.

PS

Tin,

I asked someone about those "masks" and gloves. I was told that the gloves are for the fishes protection from our cooties and the mask.....camo?? to break up the outline of the face for sight fishing?? I thought that was a little whacked, but who am I to question???

My Dog is my best friend - Thats why they are loyal - I may be going to the extrieme but what he suffers i would gladly suffer (maybe not worms :P ) but thats why they have Vets ... I let my dog in and out of the house no matter how dirty he gets its part of being a pet owner.

My dogs stay in a lot when they are not out hunting or free to run around.  Its a shaded area and are took very good care of.  Generally my beagle has to stay in the lot because he runs deer bad.  Don't think because you don't let your animals in the house its bad.  Maybe we should just shelter all wildlife.

OMG ;D I have the same dog but all brown! I've debated taking my dog with me. He loves fish I mean LOVES FISH! He will flat tear into a fish on a stringer if I'm not careful LOL. I haven't taken him yet for two reasons. First he is a big scaredy cat in the car. I hate to think about what he might be like in the boat. Second I swear if he jumped or fell in he would sink faster then my anchor with those little legs. ;D I used to have a black lab that use to love going with me before she died. I think she would have just preferred to swim next to the boat all day then in it.

Here's my little dog charlie here thinking he's got a big meal coming. PS these fish are being mounted and the pond I caught them at was going to be and has been drained.
