How would it be if I used a wacky rig on a drop shot?

It seems to me that it would be getting you bait down deep but still being able to fish a weight less bait.

What do you guy think?

That will never work.

That is the rig that I caught my first dropshot fish on. Give it a try.

Guys up here in New England swear by wacky rigging worms on a drop shot rig. I nose hook my drop shot baits mostly, but if I am using a 5" worm then I wacky rig it.

It flat out works great, just cast it out and let it sit there and they will eat it!!!! :o

Its just a means to cut out the ten minute wait for a Senko to fall in 15+ FOW.  Works great.  I'll often use a 3' drop line, and the bait is in that "zone" much quicker than the guy waiting forever for it to get down there.  It zips down through the unproductive water, and then does its thing for the last few feet.  Very effective.
