I know there has been numerous past polls on this very question, but since then, the economy has come to sh!t, and i'm interested to see the results : ;D

Lets see.... i need to replace a spinning rod that snapped in my rod locker.... stock up on some more lures (BAITMONKEY STRIKES AGAIN!).... 2 baitcast reels i've ordered recently are being shipped to me right now..... and next fall, i'm planning on buying a new trolling reel for trout.

I picked 1000-1500. Between buying new rods and new tackle, then I figured buying stuff for the boat, I figured I'll be right around there or more.

Boy.... I spend maybe $50 a week, every week on baits alone, I have a bit of a weakness I'm sure many can relate to, for shiny new things. That alone is around $2500. Throw in a couple new rigs that I end up buying every year and we are at roughly $3k. Buying a boat in spring, does that count?

$500-$1000...kinda figured out that's about what i spend last year as well.This year it's gonna be more rods and reels instead of baits.

That could change though....If the big 3 doesn't get their $25 billion bailout...my job is in jeopardy.

1000-1500 for me next yr i have too many lures so thats out all i want is a few revo winches or inshores and maybe a few shimano rods

Less than this year probably, since I spent like $2500 on rods and reels this year.  I don't think I will be purchasing any of those this year.  So I said $500-1000, that will cover most of the baits and whatever else I need.  Although, I am going for a job interview on Wed. if I get this job then it will substantially higher because i will have a bass boat.

I spend about 2000 to 3000 every year and dont even realize it. The way I figure it out is by the free 20 dollar gift certificates I get from dicks and the points from Bass Pro. It amazing how fast it adds up!

Most definetely $5000+. Got atleast 4 long distance trips planned next year. Two to Guntersville, and two to Dale Hollow. Plus fishing every week, boat payments, tournament entry fees, gas, oil for boat, normal tackle replacement, etc. I spent somewhere upwards of $4000 just in diesel fuel this year to pull the boat to the lake every week.
