I'm glad I'm not the only one that feels the water's getting a little thick at times. Wow, I don't even know how you'd keep track of that many fish. Besides, y'all are cheatin'..... you're supposed to be fishing not catching. :P

No way to tell. I fish some good smallmouth creeks and rivers and had several 40+ fish days just on what I caught, averaging 5 smallies over 15in. I caught 20 or so 15in bass at Guntersville on a long weekend trip. Best 5 one day went 19lbs. Had plenty of 20 fish days fishing big strip ponds several 4lb fish in those. 1 33inch muskie. Finished 2nd in 3 club tournaments (I fished 4). I had a good year but didnt fish as much as I wanted this year will be different I moved and have a job where I only work 4 10hr days tues-fri May-September. :) And I am buying a small boat this winter ;D And my favorite little tournament trail returns from its one year break. :D

Me suspects that those less fortunate or skillful (or both) are less likely to pipe in on this thread.   Over the course of the entire season I might've caught 110 bass.  Nothing over 3 lbs.  But still, that's pretty good for me.  I only got skunked 4 times-once in the early spring, twice in the heat of summer, and once this fall.

I pulled in around 40-45 LM and 1 SM in 3 trips wading my late summer honey hole on Kentucky Lake while I was home on leave back in late Aug-early Sept.  One fish around the 4lb(ish) mark.  Just enough to keep me chompin at the bit to get the *&^@ outta here!!  Better look out in '09!!  Kentucky Lake's bass are in big trouble when I get home ;D
