Volman482 Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 Not nearly enough, but watch out next year!!!! Quote
Super User Wayne P. Posted October 16, 2008 Super User Posted October 16, 2008 ring fry, VA BassHound's numbers are better than that at his home lake. The other places he fishes keeps the average down some. I'll be picking on those bass soon since my best producing lake is closed until March 2009. Quote
Super User Tin Posted October 16, 2008 Super User Posted October 16, 2008 If I had to take a guess, between 900-1000. And about 90 fish over 4 pounds Quote
daviscw Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 I fish for fun. I'm not worried about stats. Quote
MaxumBass Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 I think I have two so far, but I've only been fishing since April....... ;D Quote
Jake. Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 595 so far this year. I like keeping records about how many bass I've caught on each lure. Quote
swilly78 Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 In excess of 400, prob more. I caught 29 Largemouth last night. I love the fall...... 8-) Quote
Brute Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 Probably about 100. I just got my first boat in July and have been out every weekend since. Quote
Super User grimlin Posted October 17, 2008 Super User Posted October 17, 2008 Around 30... :'( Most of them were smallmouths. I had a horrible year. :-/ Quote

Trick Worm Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 No offense, but this question is kinda ridiculous.I or anyone else would need one of those clicker counters mounted to the side of the boat or carried in our pockets, even then I would only count half of them since I would rather not spend the time to click it before getting another cast out there. thats not a bad idea. Super User Wayne P. Posted October 17, 2008 Super User Posted October 17, 2008 I've posted this before, the blue string is one I bought at Bass Pro Shops in Springfield, Mo. It only has 15 beads (not enough for me) and just the one color, so I made the other two. I either clip them on my belt or on a boat seat for quick access. The only time it takes extra time is when I reset the string and add the 20 count to another string. Quote
Bassboss Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 75-100 not be many fish but they have been much better quality, the biggest fish this year was a 7 ponder. Quote

Maybe you could dig out the pic of the 7 lbr, it's in the box with the pic of the 15 and the 10 your dad caught on an ultra light. : And it's spelled "pounder" Quote

And I don't know how to scan pics so I can put them on the computer, I'm sure my dad knows, I'll just ask him when he wakes up. All and due time. Quote
Low_Budget_Hooker Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 I'm one of them low budget anglers, I'd love a boat, but can't afford one, and if i could afford the boat, then theirs gas. But i seem to make along fishing form shore, I've caught 3 ten pounders and one 15 pounder, how ever said you could not catch big from shore (although, it would be great to have one)! So do you have one or not? Man,...you're a classic, first you said YOU caught the 15,...now it was your dad,.....before you were born......what's next? (Don't answer, my toleration is wearing thin) Back to the topic Quote
BigBubbaBassMan Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 This year has been an especially slow year! What it comes down to is I need a new fishing buddy! No Boat, gear is old and un-kept, work too often extends into Saturday and Sunday, and the saltwater fishing has been soooooo good!!....Okay okay I don't even deserve to post on this site, I haven't been bass fishing this year! Oh the humanity! In year's past I usually pull in 800-950 a year, most trips I catch over 15 bass, not terribly good quality, less than 5lbs ...and always catch and release! Quote

Super User Muddy Posted October 19, 2008 Super User Posted October 19, 2008 I feel like I should be reading this thread with rubber boots and rubber overalls on Quote
ejtaylor822 Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 Probably 40-50 bass. It's been a slow year and haven't been out much, but that's OK. Started building rods last winter so most "free" time is spent building rods for others to go fishing. I know a lot of fish have been caught on the rods I have built which is (for now) just as good for me. Eddie Quote
