He definatley has a sense of humor. I have been trying to get out in the boat for a month now and every weekend has been cold, wet or windy in any combo there is. And when I say windy it's in excess of 25mph, for my little boat thats just to much. Here's more, my brother catchs fish but I don't and we are fishing the same place and time with same bait. My main fishing time is on the weekend so all I can hope for is nice weather then. Sometimes I do get it and I say "thank you!" to him above.

Ok folks this is how the weekend is shaping up. It was mid-80s all week, strong cold front coming through today (Friday). Is Saturday worth fishing? Due to family commitments my fishing time is very limited I can basically pick 5 hours to fish anytime Saturday or Sunday. I always hear cold-front fishing is the worse possible fishing conditions.

Thanks in advance for your help everyone is so helpful here :D

Man, nobody said that fishing DURING the front was bad, it 'fishing AFTER the front when it 's bad ( fish develop shutmouthitis ), Saturay is not after the front, it 's during the front.

Fish the day before and during the front.  Also, don't pay so much attention to the temp as you do the cloud cover and rain possibility.  You're going to have a better chance of catching fish when it's cloudy then you will when there are no clouds.

I'd fish as much as possible on Saturday and spend Sunday with the family.

Welp we went fishing Saturday morning and couldn't find a bite.  Fished 7am - 11am and our efforts produced a Crappie and dink LMB.  Oh well, can't slay'em every time I guess  ;D
