uicdent11 Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 Just picked some hollow bodied bass magic swimbaits up at BPS. They were out of most swimbait weighted hooks except the larger ones. I was wondering what size and weight I should try and pick up to match the length. I have one pack of 4.5" and another of 3.5. What would you recommend? Thanks for your help. Quote
OnthePotomac Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 On the 4.5" I use a 6/0 and on the 3.5" try either a 5/0, or 4/0. I prefer the Eagle Claw and Lake Fork swimbait hooks because they have a wide bend away from the plastic and have a screw on the hook eye to screw into the nose. Quote
