you asked for it... you got it!!

Rich Z is on Lunkerville for 2 shows and you can watch them both now, before they hit WFN in the next few weeks :)

I had a terrific time with Rich fishing Lake Champlain... Yes, he took me to school, but who better to get I disagree kicked by than Rich Z?... The Man!

I think you all will really enjoy these shows... watch Rich talk about:

fishing creature baits

dropshotting

fishing submerged bridge abutments

backreeling

Charlie Brewer

breaking into outdoor writing

the history of Lake Champlain

and his philosophy on life!

I've titled these shows "Chico and the Man Parts 1 and 2" because Rich is definitely a fatherly type figure, with tons of wisdom and good advice... and because i felt like a kid out there at times, disappointing my old man...LOL

ENJOY!!

Hey Mike,

Just wanted you to know that I really enjoy your show. It's a refreshing change from the high octane tourney show or the lure infomercial that seem to dominate espn these days. It's my style of fishing, laid back and jawing with some friends on whatever boat you can scrounge up that day.

Thanks for keeping us updated on the shows. I for one am glad I can watch online since my cable doesn't carry your network.

I wouldn't be a fan without a suggestion though ;) How about doing a show where you wade for some smallmouth? Rivers, creeks and streams provide some boatless fishermen great fun.

Keep up the good work.

hahaha russ... hey, i'm not afraid to tell the true story!

Zen... i love the idea and it's something we'll definitely be doing... if you're interested in being on the show, send me a home video of you catching a fish and we'll go from there. I prefer a digital file on CD or DVD, but a tape is cool also.

That would certainly fit the feel Lunkerville projects.  Float tubes, another sugg.

thank you roseangler!

jeremy... you're internet connection may be too slow... best thing to do is to wait for it to download for a few minutes, then start viewing... if you still have problems, clear your cache, load the page, and walk away for 5 or 10 minutes, then try to watch.

the internet movie is optimized for a high speed internet connection... if you have cable, it should load and play without any delay... with DSL you may have to wait a few minutes... with dial up you'll have to wait quite a while.

we're shooting in High Definition now and streaming on the web in a much higher video and audio quality than with previous shows... so if you're able to view previous episodes without delay and are now experiencing some problems, it's normal.

thanks

Thanks for the invite Mike!

As for being on the show, I don't really consider myself TV-ready just yet, lol. Give me awhile to learn my home waters well enough to be confident I can put you on some fish. In the meantime, I hope the show does well and keep up the good TV!

Thanks for a great show Mike.

Rich Z looks like a lot of fun to fish with.  I have fooled around with the drop shot a little and after watching the show I am ready to give it another try ;D

Great shows Mike.  That drop shot bite is tough to figure out for lots of really good fisherman, but its worth getting schooled a few times to learn it.

Love the show by the way.  Always very entertaining, and its nice to see many of our waters in the Northeast and especially some of the smaller secret "lake x's" on there.   Keep up the good work.

Mike, You already know how I feel about the Rich Z's two shows. Simply the best yet. Rich is a 1st class guy and a master fisherman. He came across on your shows exactly like he does in person. For that matter, so do you buddy. And to think that I didn't think it was possible for you to top either Marty or Gary's shows.

For the show of shows, you need to do one featuring Ronnie (BassStalker). Just be prepared for one long day on the water my friend.

joel!... tell me about it... i've been trying to get ronnie on lunkerville for several years now, it seems... but he's very stubborn.... he only wants to do an early spring "ice out" show... and we always seem to have conflicting schedules at that time... so i'll honor his wishes and will wait till the time is right... "a fine wine takes time" :)

Mike,  Somehow I can't see Ronnie as fine wine. But he's certainly a quality cigar.  Do the ice out show with Ronnie, I'm betting it will be absolutely fantastic.  Most of us have a hard time during ice out even finding and then catching Bass.
