darren Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 caught a nice bass this weekend and in the process of getting a photo and weighing him he shook so darn hard i dropped him on the ground...I am 6'1 so he fell pretty hard....when I released him, the algae was so thick he disappeared under it, so I didnt get the chance to see him swim away...do you think he will be ok... I'm calling the DNR on you right now. ;D It's all good I'm sure he is fine. It's not like you had stuck a hook in his mouth and dragged him 20yds against his will just prior to that or anything. ;D Quote
SenkoShawn Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 hes fine ive done this as well and seen it swim away lol Quote
Peter E. Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 So long as he didnt spend too much time out of water or end up gill hooked, I'm sure he's fine. tough critters those bass. Quote
Super User Wayne P. Posted September 3, 2008 Super User Posted September 3, 2008 The bass will do fine, the B.A.S.S. pros jerk them in the boat with their fishing rods, drop them on the floor, and spend some time showing them to the camera. Most seem to survive the ordeal. They set such a fine example of fish care, : Quote
NewScreenNameAdvised Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 He'll probably be fine. Next tiem all you have to do to make sure is gently put it in the water and let it swim off. Quote
