andamtoft Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 Anybody out there try the jackall cover craw? how was it? Quote
Uncle Leo Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 Looks like it may give a Ika a run for it's money. First time I seen one, Tackle Tour has a review. Quote
Primus Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 I picked them up late last summer, caught a few fish on it in the limited time that I had it on the water. Looks like it has a lot of potential, will be in the rotation this year. Quote
Super User T-rig Posted March 4, 2009 Super User Posted March 4, 2009 Try the Imakatsu Dynagone, it's a better bait. Quote
Super User Raul Posted March 4, 2009 Super User Posted March 4, 2009 Try the Imakatsu Dynagone, it's a better bait. I agree and disagree with T-rig, yup the Dynagone is a better bait, only problem with the Dynagone is that you can 't find them in the US while you can find the Cover Craw at TW, there 's where I disagree with T-rig in you trying to get the Dynagone. TournyFish001 Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 its a viable option- try flipping and pitching it Quote
Super User T-rig Posted March 5, 2009 Super User Posted March 5, 2009 Raul, I buy the Dynagone's from ebay just like most of the stuff I use. If you want something you'll find it. http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?from=R40&_trksid=m37.l1313&satitle=dynagone&category0= Beaver's for example are not available in Switzerland and I have to order them from the US. wisturkeyhunter Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 Thanks for the link T-rig. About $3 a piece when you figure in shipping. I might try some but I have to wonder what they'll do different than a fat ika. Quote
Pitchinkid Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 I like the cover craws pretty well. A little too thick in the body in my opinion but still an overalll good T-rig bait.Pretty good colors as well. Quote
NYfishwow Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 that craw fish looks cool, thanks T-rig. nice bait. Quote
John G. Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 The Cover Craw is really sweet! If you rig it weightless and reverse on the hook it actually falls away from you after you cast, much like the old flying lure used to but in an actual bait fish like. You can cast under logs, floating docks, ETC now because of this bait. Also, I like using the 3 inch for jig trailers or fishing it on a small jighead or texas rigged. Look at Tackle Warehouse for more information, there is a video on youtube that shows its falling action as well. Quote
