Low_Budget_Hooker Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Great show!!! Oh yeah they make a newfangled thing called an anchor. Anchor?? I have a small Danforth and 2 diff size wind anchors,........on board. Didn't need them. Usually if a good wind picks up I'll start by tossing the small drift sock and tying the danforth around my waist to keep my skinny butt in the boat ;D Did you see a part where I needed an anchor?? Zel Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Guess my perception was wrong, but it appeared you kept fighting with the trolling motor to stay in camera shot, and then it looked like the show just decided to go with a lot of long shots where you couldnt see much of the fish. I thought it was because of the troubles keeping close on camera my mistake. Don't get me wrong, it was a great and enjoyable show. On the extra plus side, the audio was top notch, and the music worked well and didn't overpower other aspects of the show. And its one of the first times on a show that I saw a guest talk a lot more than the host. Overall looked to be a fun day on the water. Quote
Low_Budget_Hooker Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Gotchya. No, it was more the case of the condition. Bluebird, no wind. We needed to keep moving, looking for the last of the bedding fish as everything else that wasn't a Pickerel, had lock jaw. Also, it looks like a lot of boat control going on but that is only because it is all done by hand, from a standing position, so, you see it all. If I were using a bow mount w/ a foot control, it would have been much less noticeable but .....how "Low Budget" would that be I must ask, lol. Quote
TSPfishing Posted August 20, 2008 Posted August 20, 2008 loved the vid... from the fishing pattern being "in the water" to the three tap theory... just cracked me up. Quote
