George Welcome Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 Only a few more weeks to get those youngsters out before school starts! They will love it and so will you! I can't think of a better way to spend a day then to spend it with your youngster. Quote

jcv Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 Great post George! You've posted some really nice pics of big Bass and happy looking kids! Pretty much all of my time on the water is spent with at least one of my kids. My son is always with me and when I can, I get my daughter to come along as well. Quote
Super User fishinfiend Posted August 5, 2008 Super User Posted August 5, 2008 Great pictures. It is always good to see the youngsters fishing. There is only one problem. Those kids catch bigger fish than me :'( Quote
B-o-b Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 Those are some awesome pictures, i wish i could have gone more when i was a youngin' :-[ Quote
toolpush Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 Good job, will you take me fishing? Can I go also? Nice bass, happy kids. Quote
D.Cox Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 Great pictures. It is always good to see the youngsters fishing. There is only one problem. Those kids catch bigger fish than me :'( I laughed when I read this! ;D My husband knows exactly how you feel. A couple of weeks ago, we took our 5 yr. old son bluegill fishing and instead he caught a 4+ lb. bass on his little beetle spin. Quote
George Welcome Posted August 6, 2008 Author Posted August 6, 2008 An almost certainty - take a youngster, your spouse, or a neighbor who has never fished before and they will catch more and bigger fish than you. It is ordained to be that way. Quote
NEBassMan Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 My baby girl is only 16 months old, but i can't wait for the day i can take her out to catch her first fish. Quote
sambrochill Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 hey man its great to see that ur passin on the sport to younger generations and those fish look awesome. I'm sure if i caught fish like that when i was younger i would've probably gotten more serious about fishing at a younger age. but i have a trip planned for thursday since school starts next tuesday so wish me luck =] Quote
