hercdoc Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 I would loved to have fished with my father one more time before he passed away. We had some great trips together but he was taken from this earth much too soon. Man, the stories he could tell...! Quote
wisturkeyhunter Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 Al Lidner on a northern lake for a variety of fish. Quote
Super User Redlinerobert Posted May 27, 2008 Super User Posted May 27, 2008 Larry Dhalberg. Venezuela. Golden Dorado on the Uruguay River. Flip Pallot. Florida. Tarpon, snook and jacks deep in the Everglades. Quote
fishing man Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 the two anglers i would go fishing with would have to be mike ike on indian lake, and casey ashley on mosquito lake. Quote
Super User MALTESE FALCON Posted May 27, 2008 Super User Posted May 27, 2008 #1 for me would be KVD. He has said Lake St. Clair was his favorite lake. I'd love to see how he would fish my back yard. #2 would be Skeet Reese. I'd love to go fishing with him on the Delta or Clear Lake. Falcon Quote
Super User Catt Posted May 27, 2008 Super User Posted May 27, 2008 Take a Soldier Fishing Tournament on Toledo Bend on July 12th 2008 with Wesley (I'm working on it Dude). Starting with our boss Glenn & then the other 14,999 members at Bass Resource.com Oh yea y'all wanna catch some speck & reds y'all need to come down to Calcasieu (Big Lake) in Southwest Louisiana. The Oh Boy! Oberto Redfish Cup Tournament is here now! Quote
Willzx225 Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 KVD - No need to explain why. I would fish with him on any lake with heavy cover when the fish were tight to the cover. Gerald Swindle - I think he would be a trip to fish with. I would fish anywhere. Quote
Willzx225 Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 Maltese- I got a chance to fish with Skeet recently on Clarks Hill and all I can say is he is a machine! Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted May 27, 2008 Super User Posted May 27, 2008 I would like to go fishing with Kent ( Roadwarrior ) n ' lend him my Daiwa rees, I would like to go with Russ ( Low_Budget ) and lend him my obscenly priced tackle. Who knows ? maybe I can turn them both to the DARK SIDE. Yeah... There are a few dozen guys on this Forum thay I would like to fish with, and I have already had the opportunity to fish with a few! I'm not going to list anyone because I would certainly leave too many out, but I would rather fish with you guys than with any pro, seriously. 8-) Quote
Staff Sergeant--USMC Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 #1 Has got to be, without a shadow of doubt, Kevin Van Dam!!! Heck, he's taught me more from a DVD than I've ever learned anywhere else! ;D #2 would be Bill Dance; because mabey he would fall off the boat, crack his leg off the trailer hitch, loose his trolling motor in the lake, fall in the lake while trying to put a battery on the boat, have a snake fall in his lap, etc..... ;D You just can't get any funnier than that!!!! Super User Matt Fly Posted May 27, 2008 Super User Posted May 27, 2008 My dad got the bug burning for bassin when I was six, thats over 40 years ago. I'd love to have my Dad around for another trip. The second person would be my mother, the other huntrer/fishermen in the family who could hang with anyone. My mom made at least 2 trips to Mexico a year in the 70's for bass. She was die hard as well. I was blessed to have come from parents who enjoyed the passion. Quote
bocabasser Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 flip pallott rick murphy anywhere down here. those guys truly love the environment and can flat out catch 'em! Quote
Zel Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 George W. Bush An avid bass fisherman, and a historical leader who has faced numerous challenges to our country. Fishing anywhere for bass. Dick Cheney I figure a fishing trip would be safer than a hunting trip with the VP. Fishing anywhere for bass. Quote
simplejoe Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 I would say KVD or Hank Parker on my hometown lake Quote
Willzx225 Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 I second Zel's reasoning for Dick Cheney! Hunting would be hazardous to your health! Hilarious! Quote

ChopperIA Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 I'd go with Charlie Moore, so I could whip his butt! ;D No seriously, any pro would be fun just to see how they attack your home water. I'd like to fish with FishChris on a good day, I just want to catch a monster! Quote
Super User fishfordollars Posted May 27, 2008 Super User Posted May 27, 2008 Catt would be the first and there are too many others to list on this site. This is an open invitation to any and all members that happen to show up in the East Texas area there is at least one open seat in my boat. Quote
BadKarma42 Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 Jose Wejibe and Larry Dahlberg. George W Bush and Vic Mackey. Quote
wickyman Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 The two people I would like to fish with are; Pros; 1: Ish Monroe, this guy is insane, and he has to be a blast to fish with, he is totally himself on the water! 2: Steve Kennedy, because he killed the elite series last year, with his win on Clear Lake, which is my home lake! Place: Clear Lake, California. about 120 miles North from San Fransisco, and 120 west of Sacramento! This has been called, "the bass capital of the west" for good reason! Big bass, and lots of them! People I would like to fish with from the forums; 1. Big M, he is a pretty awesome guy, with a talent for making some really nice crank baits! 2. anyone else, everyone here is so d**n awesome! Especially to people who need a little help, now and again! Same location as above! Quote
emti56 Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 it would be gerald swindle on my home waters for fun he seems layed back or quinn I guess any pro would be great though how would they do were i can fight some times Quote
Tokyo Tony Posted May 28, 2008 Posted May 28, 2008 I have 3... KVD, just to see how he'd approach some of my home lakes. I still can't believe how fast he works crankbaits and spinnerbaits. Jimmy Houston, backcountry fishing in the Everglades for Snook, Tarpon, Redfish, and trout. That would be an awesome awesome time. Al Lindner on his Northern lakes. That guy knows so much and is so incredibly good at finding fish, I just know I'd be twice as good at fishing after a couple outings with him. He seems like a great guy too. Quote
Chode2235 Posted May 28, 2008 Posted May 28, 2008 Al and Ron Lindner. They are such pioneers in the sport. I would want to fish with them on either Rainy lake, or Gull Lake, or on the Upper Miss for some smallmouth. Quote
