I beat the bait monkey

I battled him for an hour today at bass pro shops in Nashville. He was really pushing me for some lucky craft wake baits, but I said NO! I was also cut off by the E21 Carrot Stix Pro from Ontario, whoever that is. I didn't recognize his face as he cut me off with his Yukon. What a nice way to treat someone that helps pay for all his free stuff. I also saw Gary Yamamoto standing in the parking lot at bass pro putting some oil in his RV. I would have stopped to get an autograph but I had to pick my GF at the airport. All in all it was a pretty exciting day.

I have to admit, that the bait monkey never really, has had a hold on me...  I usually pimp slap the hell out of that little guy, and tell him to go back to his closet!    Maybe someone should start a BMA (bait monkey anonymous) or something? lol

I like the little guy. He's been talking to my wife. She asked me how much I needed from the rebate check for the new split grip rod I wanted................life is good.

Now I just have to make up my mind, which one do I want to get.

Whenever I go to the local baitshop, the bait monkey wins EVERY TIME!  I can never go in an come out with what I wanted...I always seem to find something I can't live without.

I hate the bait monkey!!!!!!!  I have a perfectly good Calcutta reel I was going to trade and get a Revo!!!!!!  now the bait monkey says I have to keep the Calcutta in case I go saltwater fishing, and I have to have a Revo as well.......  darn him- I just can't disappoint de monkey........
