Weirdest Thing(s) Caught

I'm just wondering what's the weirdest thing you guys caught/pulled up while fishing.

1st Weird

I was using 4 lb test Maxima line and a small hook, caught something pretty heavy, got it to almost where I can see it and the line snapped. I was disappointed I didn't see what it was. It was time for us to leave, I brought up the anchor and there was my little hook attached to a little piece of Maxima 4 lb test line. I thought it was pretty funny at the time.

2nd Wierd

I was with a buddy fishing for stripers when I hooked a nice bass that I thought had a hook on its back. After scooping up the fish in the net I realized it wasn't a hook at all but a tag for $200. Let me know if you'd like to see a picture of the tagged fish.

3rd Weird

One time I caught two fish with one hook.  I caught a bluegill and a 5-6 lb catfish.  I thought that was kind of neat.

this is not really weird but almost impossible. when my brother was fishing for kings in alaska he was reeling in his line when he thought that he got a bite set the hook and had a fish on. when he reeled it up the hook had somehow hooked into another hook eye that was already hooked into the fish.

Thats got to be one of those one in a million situations  ;D.

The oddest thing I'v ever caught was a dead bass. I hooked it on the inside of the mouth. I didn't realize it was dead until I got it closer.

Wierdest thing for me would have to be a rock.  I have reeled up multiple 3 to 4 lb rocks.  i have also caught another fish rod and reel before but it was old and worthless.

A group of us were walleye fishing together. One guy was not catching at all. So he finally put on his favorite shad rap cast out got a strike and reeled in a very big, very dead, and very stinky walleye -hooked in the upper lip.

I dont know if this is weird or not.

1)I was fishing a moss pad and a HUGE frog attacked my frog lure and hooked himself.  I reeled him in and he weighed over a pound.  I have never seen this before.

2)We were on a fishing trip up in south dakota, the other boat we were fishing with had caught a fish, well the pole went into the water.  The same guy that just lost his pole throw out a lure and caught his pole and then caught the fish.  1 in a million.

My uncle and his friend were catfishing on the bank of a cove at the lake he lives on. His friend had a fish on and my uncle was watching him. My uncle then got a bite and his pole went sailing into the water. He took another pole, put on the biggest weight and treble hook he had and casted into the cove a few times until he caught his own line, bringing in his pole and a 12 lb channel cat.

I was night fishing with a worm and felt the tap - tap and set the hook on a Racoon. He was not too happy.

I caught an Oscar in a pond yesterday. Had to do a search on the net to figure out what it was.

And a duck!!!

Well I didn't actually catch this but it was something that I saw while I was fishing.  I was fishing in a fairly shallow pond which had catfish in and I was fishing, watching the ducks swimming as I fished, and as I was watching the ducks I saw a catfish come up and eat a duck!  It took me a second to realize what had happened and when I did I was shocked!  I wanted that catfish as a pet. ;D

the weirdest thing i have caught had to be a condom. i caught it with a crank bait and thought i had a good fish, and well everyone came over to me to see waht i got and i pulled up a condom full of water. i was really embarrassed. then i had to find a way to get it off, i wasnt touchen it

While fishing at night once, I threw my bait up on the bank to let it fall back off the rocky shelf and a coon grabbed it.  Of course I wasn't gonna real him in only to get eaten alive.  I ended up having to cut the line as close as I could to the critter.  I've always wondered if he was able to get unhooked.

this happens at the canal i fish, excet there are some big pike and gar pike, ive seen some birds that dive into the water and not come back out, and ive seen a gar pike eat a baby goose,

I once caught a 100lb snapping turtle on a Pop-R. Man, when that thing boiled on the bait and I loaded up, I thought I had the state record bass.

I have also caught a condom actually. Caught it on a rapala, looked like a windsock when it was coming in.
