Lard_Bass Posted May 26, 2008 Posted May 26, 2008 I was fishing a local little lake (about 2 acres) the past couple of days and noticed that the Southwestern corner of the lake was clear in the mornings but full of debris (i.e. thin film on top of water, lake weed, etc) in the evenings. There's a fountain in the middle of the lake but I don't understand why one part of the lake is worse at a certain part of the day. Can anyone shed some light? Thanks. Quote
BassinBoy Posted May 26, 2008 Posted May 26, 2008 Current and wind changes at different times during the day so it will carry it. Quote
Lard_Bass Posted May 26, 2008 Author Posted May 26, 2008 I thought that but what left me confused is that the spillway was clear during one part of the day but clear the other part. I fished both morning and evening and the wind was blowing in the same direction. Quote
Jeff Farrow Posted May 28, 2008 Posted May 28, 2008 dude yeah im fishing sorta the same pond/lake.. two fountains in the middle lots of wind. Everyday the fish are hitting in a different spot. I found mid afternoon (330 is eastern) till about 6ish 630 fishing down the shores about 3 4 feet out, i use a dark fluke n bang em out.. just keep fishing the water test out a bunch of things, you'll quickly find out just what they want Goodluck! edit* also as I just re read what you said, today I actually caught about 4, 2/3# down near the end where that film youre talking about is..
